Castilla just beat top of the table Albacete 3-1 to move to 8th.

2 Zidanes boys playing now for Castilla. Luka in goal and Enzo. Enzo with beautiful pass to Campuzano who opens scoring.

How's Valverde going? There's a bit of hype around him in Uruguay at the moment. Apparently he's doing well?

Castilla won overnight 2-1 to secure 4th position, now only 3 points off 3rd and 6 off 2nd. There is no catching first.

We won 1-3 to hold our place in 4th

Vergos with 2, Quez with the other when we were down to 10 men.

Haven't been watching Castilla this season like I was in the past but from what I remember and what others have said, he isn't good enough for the 1st team. Its good to hear he has been great this season though. And Lucas Vasquez was basically a bench warmer during the Jese/Morata days at Castilla and look where he is now. Enzo could end up having that role one day too.

Oh and Luca is out for the season after dislocating his shoulder. He was the one folks thought could make it at the top over Enzo.

Too bad would've been great to have him in the midfield in the future since his playing style from what ive seen is very impressive if it grows to world class level and not just for the name he holds althiugh i have to admit would make a great story but i try not to get my emotions involved in such decisions :p

now all we can hope for a possible breakthrough season somewhere else

Athletic Club B beat Castilla 2-1, Enzo with a red card in the 90th. Which unfortunately throws us back down to 6th. It was an absolute woeful performance from us.

Caught the second half and I have to say I hope the boys don't usually perform nearly as badly as today, otherwise there's not much hope in there.

Out of playoffs. Like I said in the team news thread, Guti is looking really good. I hope he manages the team next. Besides that, it may be another painful summer of loaning/selling the kids away.

5 losses in 6 games, the other game being a draw. Completely threw the season away. Disappointing.

Yup was abhorrent, but then again so were the players and their attitudes a lot of the time.

Also I'd say we lost at least 5 games to absolute woeful, borderline they should be investigated, referees.

No surprises here. If La Liga refs are shit, I can only imagine what the level of refs is two levels down.
