Major League Lacrosse is having their Allstar game at Bonney this summer. My son plays lacrosse. Great sport, lots of fun. https://www.majorleaguelacrosse.com...ost-2017-mll-all-star-game?platform=hootsuite
Watch the whole thing. Trust me. South Fork of #Yuba River on #Donner Summit near #Truckee. Be safe! Sandbags available @ Station 92 on Donner Pass Rd #atmosphericriver pic.twitter.com/JrgHgTrCxM— Truckee Fire (@TruckeeFire) December 10, 2016 I know this exact spot. So much rain melting all the snow. And it's all flowing into a few rivers.
Folsom reservoir's water level in acre feet this year compared to the last two years and overall average. 2014-15 in red and 2015-16 is the thinner blue line. That's quite a jump in the last two days. http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cdecapp/resapp/resDetailOrig.action?resid=FOL
Happy New Year to the SRFC fans on BigSoccer! May we be celebrating together in October!! Peace Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yup. Flooding is pretty much guaranteed. With snow levels above 9000, a lot of the snow I got will be washed down compounding the flooding on both sides of the mountains. Potential for widespread flooding this weekend into next week. Check out these safety tips. Prepare now! #CAstorm #cawx pic.twitter.com/QHd779Wshh— NWS Sacramento (@NWSSacramento) January 6, 2017 Another atmospheric river is on the way. This storm is expected to bring significant impacts to the Sierra this weekend. #CAstorm #CAflood pic.twitter.com/V09WSlawmx— NWS Hanford (@NWSHanford) January 5, 2017 Gonna be a big mess. Then there are even more storms next week, but at least they're predicted to be cold, so they shouldn't pose the same sort of flooding threat.
Holy crap. Going to be a nail biter, especially since all of the rivers are already so high! Yolo Bypass will proabably be flooded higher than it's been in years
I can only hope that the snow levels are lower than predicted. Otherwise there's gonna be an unholy amount of water rolling down from the mountains. The Central Valley would be a veritable lake! And they are talking about the potential for 1997 levels of flooding in Reno.
Great. Sac river is across the street from us and my wife forgot to pay the flood insurance bill last month. Hope the levee is high enough. See y'all downstream!
Here it comes ... Potential for major flooding this weekend. A flood watch is in effect for the area Saturday PM - Monday PM. Take action now! #CAstorm #cawx pic.twitter.com/xZtgBvS0bk— NWS Sacramento (@NWSSacramento) January 7, 2017 I'd like to spend this weekend hunkering down watching the catastrophe unfold on TV and the internet. I hope my power stays on, but it likely won't ...
Well, that was quite a storm up here. 80 was closed in both directions due to slides, and there was a concern that it could be a day or two before they opened things up westbound. But they got the slides clear and everything is open once again, just in time for the next storm. There's still a bit of a mess here and there due to runoff and local flooding, but all in not too bad. Meanwhile, a bunch of people that got stranded in Reno when they closed westbound 80 took a look at that handy-dandy Google maps for an alternate route and ended up ... Multiple vehicles now stuck on Henness Pass Rd. above Dog Valley. This is not a safe I80 alternative, do not blindly follow GPS! #nvflood17 pic.twitter.com/BvAFM3qS2f— Washoe Sheriff (@WashoeSheriff) January 9, 2017 Henness Pass Road is a dirt road that's not always all that passable in the summer with a big 4 wheel drive truck! Really, folks ...

Ah, yes, that famous "MLS Reserve Team." Mostly SJ Academy kids, right? Maybe a couple of trialists? That was a great time, though.
When did Brian McBride get so old that he's got a high school age daughter? So proud of my daughter @ashleymcbb & @bg_coed for pushing through adversity & injuries to take 3rd at State. Ashley added some 🏆🏆🏆too. 🥇🥇🥉 pic.twitter.com/eUGR0ABFBT— Brian McBride (@BMcBride20) February 7, 2017 So many of the old MLS originals I still think of as kids.
I wonder how many coaches would be sent into cardiac arrest? Steve Mandanda is crazy 😂https://t.co/47B5plJKo1— FootballFunnys (@FootballFunnnys) August 24, 2017
