Wiki says he was born in Warsaw. There is a Warsaw in Georgia. The natives in Georgia talk funny so....maybe!
I thought he was great in "Field of Dreams". He was much more believable as a Dr. than Wankler! Ps....He wasn't very good with finances.
half-dead is better than half-alive in this case, I think - definitely an interesting version of half-full v. half-empty
I was po'd because in another clip on Poppys death he looked normal. But in clip at Capitol he looked like he was 95.
Funeral for Poppy today. The Obamas gave cursory greetings to Trumps. Bill scoped out Melania and Hillary looked straight ahead & didnt blink. Now that's the person you want facing down Putin & Kim https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics.../video/playlists/remembering-george-h-w-bush/

Sandra Locke, the actress & director we all remember from the 70s & 80s has died. The Hollywood Reporter, however, chose another tack in her obit: The obituary opens with “Sondra Locke, the Oscar-nominated actress who made six movies with Clint Eastwood before their relationship disintegrated and she sued him for palimony and then fraud, has died. She was 74.” It’s hard to imagine going for that as a headline when others, such as The Wrap, have praised Locke’s work fighting for her rights and women’s rights in Hollywood. https://www.themarysue.com/in-memory-of-sondra-locke-obituary/
RIP. I didn't know about her directing at all, but I don't look for directors much. I'll always remember her as Laverne DiFazio. Kinda like remembering Richard Thomas as John-Boy Walton (what happens when he has a son of his own? Does he get called "Tre" or something?) or Ron Howard as Richie Cunningham.
