not even 31 years old. scary :(

i try not to remember goals scored against us, but his goal in the famous 4-4 draw / meltdown is one that i will always remember. RIP and condolences to his family

    Shame

Seems to have an underlying heart issue

I wonder how many players don't know they suffer?

    OMG, whoa! Tiote RIP.

Have never forgotten "that goal" and only held it against him a tiny bit.

Interesting to contrast the statements put out by his current Chinese club compared to his prior English club. The Chinese one was a bit clinical, and so so slightly defensive I thought. The English one was talking about devastation, thoughts with his loved ones, etc. Just a difference in cultures?

Not trying to be overly dramatic here, but I will never forget 4-4.

6 years and 4 months ago today, Feb 5, 2011. It was my birthday.

I was elated at the half, but by the end I couldn't even bring myself to get off the couch. It ruined my entire day.

Seems small potatoes in the grand scheme of things.
