    CARLOS ALBERTO TORRES
    Dead today at 72.
One of my hero’s growing up – The captain of the 1970 Brasilian World Cup Champions, one of the greatest defenders of all time that revolutionized the attacking defender, that was the first to kiss the World Cup trophy demonstrating eternal love.
A sad day in Futebol Brasileiro.
My greatest memory of Carlos Alberto – the 4th and last goal of the 1970 final against Italy and retiring the world cup Jules Rimet Trophy.
    RIP CAPITA !!
    I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.

Wow!! And I just watched the 1970 WC yesterday, takes you back when football was so simple and if you was untalented you was easily exposed!!

Carlos Alberto's goal has to go down in the top 3 Greatest Goals in WC history!!
