Pedro 1 vs 1 against the goalie, and puts the ball right at him.

    Who said Pulisic's finishing suck?

Alonso puts the ball 500ft up the sky.

Chelsea's shooting is just horrid. 16 shots and 3 on target.

    Fixed it for you.

Pulisic will be watching this game from the bench.

No sense in taking any of this personally. Lumpy has lost to inferior teams. He has drawn to inferior teams. He has lost to better teams. He has lost to equal teams.

What he hasn't don't yet is coach effectively against an even or better team...against pool he chose the wrong squad, but I thought the tactics were spot on.

FWIW most Chelsea fans I see on the web want Puli playing more and think there’s something more going on behind the scenes.

If Lumpy says he needs to adapt to a new league, can’t do it from the bench.

All I know is Pulisic was invisible this first half.

I unfortunately don't think lampard brings in CP. Odoi will come in, Bats and maybe a random defender. Lampard thinks Willian, Barkley and Pedro are better than CP. Smh

This Chelsea team makes Stoger managed Dortmund look like 2010 Barcelona.

Barkley is a head scratcher in general. But he plays a different position. Without Kante in the quad, you are going to see a straight swap for a CM.

Pedro is in there to 'create' today. Not his best skill.

Willian or Mount represent the only two viable replacements for CP unless Lumpy goes with 2 strikers, which he might given that they need goals at home.

Aside from fullback crosses, this current team seems out of ideas in the final 3rd as witnessed by so many long range shots in the first half.

It's almost as if he wasn't even there.

It takes them a PK to score, which resulted from a terrible mistake in the back by BHA.

From what I've seen so far this season, I have to say Mount and Barkley are no more than mid/lower EPL or Championship level. They are typical English players. Young guys with a good moto, runs a lot, kicks a lot, shoot a lot. They lack the soccer intelligence or skills to break down a good or packed in defense. They can't create. As the season goes on and their legs got tired, their productivity will take a significant hit. These guys are useless against good/decent teams. To an extend that also apply to Tammy.

I just don't think Pulisic is able to shine and leverage his full potentials in Lamp's system. You need to let Pulisic run wild and attack. I still think he's more likely to succeed under Klopp or Poch.

This BHA backline is atrocious. Almost gave up a second goal from a terrible back pass.

Yup Lampard is guilty of nepotism with his fellow Englishmen.

A new club next season IMO. At least a loan.

    Sadly I'm not surprised.

It's all up to Pulisic to force the issue. Train hard, earn minutes, and show what he's got.

I’m pretty vocal in this thread regarding some users VASTLY overrating CP over the last 18 months.

    BUT

Willian and Pedro aren’t good and CP should be playing more than he has. Something is up and lamps playing Barkley so much shows me he can’t properly evaluate
