    No Sunderland... don't score.

i'll try to get some more pictures taken like I did with Marcus yesterday. Sunderland are going to get stuffed tonight, and since Sunderland are so poor, it should make for a very entertaining match (for me)

    Super Leeds!

That's one of my favourite things as well!

Good thing there are 19 of them in the Premiership!

Not a Leeds fan per se, but they are a team I wouldn't mind winning the whole lot this year, especially after selling Rio. It would be so nice to see them stuff the team that just paid them 30 million!! Too bad my favorite Leeds man, Robbie Keane, is all but gone...and I really don't know why he was so wasted at Elland Road.

As for Sunderland...they need to stop being rumor mill fodder and actually sign someone! They have got a great striker in Phillips in need of a partner, some great mids in Arca, Reyna, and Kilbane, a good keeper...they just need someone to put a few goals away.

Maybe because he hasn't done squat while there.

Reminder: no cross-contamination of scores as some of us are watching the Friedel tape after work.

    From the Sunderland text commentary:

"Sunderland's problem against Everton on Saturday, a game they should have won, was their failure to finish. And they were again guilty of in the 14th minute when Claudio Reyna went clean through but shot straight at Paul Robinson from 10 yards."

Sounds right, and that remains Sunderland's only chance now 30 mins in....

The 5-man midfield is containing Leeds on the positive side for the Black Cats...

    0-0 30 mins in...

You can get the audio through safc.com also.

Sounds like a fairly even first half....best Sunderland chance was Reyna early in tight while Leeds' best chance came around the 40th minute on a Kewell header that went off the side netting...

    McAteer makes it 1-0, Sunderland.

Kewell gives it up, Butler to Phillips, to McAteer. First goal for Sunderland this season.

    46'.

    Yes!...

Black Cats halfway to a early-season shocker....hopefully the 5-man midfield holds up.

Only took 3 league games to score...

DaCourt and Keane on, Bakke and Barmby off.

Three strikers for Leeds now. Smith, Viduka, and Keane.

Leeds brings on Robbie Keane and Dacourt for Bakke and Barmby...sounds like Keane's given and early lift.

    55 in 1-0 Sunderland
