I have been trying to find contemporaneous lists that publications or organizations might have released of the top footballers at a given moment in time, or of the top footballers of a given year. This could be a readers' poll, a panel/poll of journalists/pundits, or a poll of people in the game. I am not interested in lists that are limited to a particular league, or a particular country or continent; but rather am looking for lists that are world-wide in scope. I am aware of the following lists: FIFA Player of the Year/FIFA Ballon d'Or - 1991-2014 (If anyone can point to the voting results, that would be helpful also. For most years Wikipedia lists just the top 10, and I can't find more detailed breakdowns of the voting on the FIFA site. France Football Ballon d'Or - 2007-2009 (I am not counting France Football's Ballon d'Or before 2007 because it was limited to European players of to players at clubs within Europe.) World Soccer Magazine Player of the Year - 1982-2013 Four Four Two Top 100 Players - 2007-2013 Guardian Top 100 Players - 2012-2013 If you are aware of any other lists out there (particularly non-Anglocentric ones), and maybe where I can see the results, that would awesome. There are some polls published by El Grafico and Placar for the first years of the 80s and 90s. Maybe @Vegan10 and @PuckVanHeel remember where exactly were posted.
