My son got stepped on during practice yesterday and there is now a ~1" slice on the top of his boot. It's between the bottom lace hole and the sole. Of course the boots are only about 2 weeks old.

Can they be repaired? Or just put some tape over the hole? Any suggestions?

    Thanks

If it's a current boot model then maybe you can avail of the manufacturer's warranty?

If it's Nike then warranty is easy. Good luck with Adidas though. It was a few years back but that's why I stopped buying Adidas. After my boost ripped all they would offer was price I paid which was half of retail during black friday at another website. Of course that wouldn't pay for any decent boot on adidas.com . Adidas warranty is crap.

So they offered you a full refund, sounds fair to me.
