As close to guaranteed minutes as he'll get. They're paying the highest loan fee I've ever heard of and they don't even have an option to buy him. So to just borrow him for the year, they're paying more than most clubs record transfers. And it's Swansea. He's going to play. Bayern believes in him enough to still want him long-term, Swansea pays in gold just to have him for a year, youngest player/only teenager to ever win a Euro, started the final at 18, crucial to Benfica's season that year hmmmm yeah I dunno, seems your bias has got the best of you on this one.
Close your eyes and picture him in a green and white hooped shirt and then he'd be your favorite player.
The reason would have been that he was on a team full of highly rated players, which will always have odd men out since the sport still limits the number of players on the field. I know what you think of Renato, but Swansea just paid almost 10 million euros to have him for one season with no option to buy. This wasn't a case where Bayern was just trying to offload garbage. Renato barely played last season as a 19-year-old, which threw a wrench in his development. He wasn't going to be a shoe-in starter for any top team in a top league right now because they all have many highly touted players who have more experience and played a lot more than 900 minutes last season. If you want to know why he's so highly rated, go find somebody working for Munich or Swansea and they can explain exactly why their clubs have spent nearly 50 million euros collectively over the past 16 months so he could be on their respective team.
At least that way he won't be tackling dirty with his studs up like he did at SLB. He would actually get sent off with SCP. We don't Eliseu privileges.
It's actually YOU living in fantasy land, dirty players with dirty tackles and diving, no repercussions. Must be nice lol.
Renato will benefit massively from being at Swansea. They play some good football and Paul Clement is one of the best coaches in the premier league. Maybe not in terms of managerial ability but as a coach he couldn't be a better person to develop sanches. I've got no doubts he'll still be a superstar
Yep, he's obviously terrible. I mean, he's a 20-year-old midfielder who had one day of training with his new team before playing his first match in the world's most competitive league, he should've controlled the whole match on his own... He'll be fine. Keep going out of your way to treat him like he committed some sort of mortal sin against your family, though, it's a really good look.
I'll keep being realistic to the fact that he is a scrub who was blown up by the SLB dick-riding media. I'll also keep being realistic to the fact that SLB dick riders in this forum, who don't have minds of their own or admit anything that is factual and true, will blindly support this steaming pile of shit because he played for SLB and was allowed to challenge players studs up without any reprimand because he wore a red jersey. He sucks ass. Those are facts. Keep dick riding though.
It's too bad you're actively rooting against a kid who already helped Portugal to its first senior title simply because he played for Benfica and you want to be right about his ability (or lack thereof). Having read your diatribes against Renato, I'm half surprised you haven't already firebombed the Benfica club in San Jose. Now back to my daily dick ride...
Nah, just proving that you are all morons for dick riding this talentless scrub who did nothing but hack players and get away scot free. I'll agree he was clinical against Poland but He's proven to be ineffective and nothing but an SLB marketing plot since then. Outside 1 or 2 flashes, he's done jack shit. He's Bebe playing Midfield, running around undisciplined like a chicken with its head cut off.
No it is a young player desperate to do well after sitting for a year. He is trying to do too much. He may never make it to the next level, you never know but Benfica fans are not routing for him simply because he came from Benfica. We were hopeful for young players from Sporting over the years too. Forget for a moment where he was developed. He came on to the scene and made a huge splash both for Benfica and at the NT level. Of course people will get excited. Even non Benfica fans, even non Portuguese fans did. Now if he does not make it, pitty. Too bad, our NT would have only benefited if he turned out to be as good as he promised at 18. The degree of your but hurt over this kid (and that is all he is, a kid the left his team way way too soon) is mind boggling. Its almost as if this kid does not make it you somehow have some victory over Benfica fans ? Any time a talented youth player does not live up to his potential, we all loose, no matter what team developed him.
In 14 pages there's one guy who is biased and completely hoping for renato to fail, and everyone else hoping he turns things around. We can ignore the one.
Nah, It's 14 pages on Benfica dick-riders hoping and praying Sanches works out when he's proven nothing to suggest he will.
Cool, a Euro Cup where he was phased out as a starter and had one good game. Congrats. Every others trophy as been an absolute fraud and a result of Benfica's corrupt strangehold on the league. Look at all the trash that has come from SLB that have been busts so far: Goncalo Guedes Victor Linelflop Nico Gaitan Nelsinho has been the only one who has been playing better. But that's what happens when refs invent PKs in your favor and rob other teams in the league for the sake of SLB. The success never transfers over. This dude is trash. He's a piece of shit as a person and a footballer. He got away with hacking players in Portugal, but that sh*t doesn't fly in the real world. F*ck him.
