Fantastic weekend for Lille. Another three points along with Lyon helping out leaves us 4 points ahead of OM with 4 games left. The title was definitely not decided, but Lille has one hand on the trophy.

    "lille fait un beau champion"...

it looks like everyone is in agreement about the LOSC: they've been on the right track for many years, played the best football this season, and their bringing home the double after so many years without a trophy is a great thing.

let's just hope they keep enough of the team together to make a good CL showing.

    Champions!!

Lille deserved the title after a remarkable season. This is one of the greatest years for Lille doing the double.

The only thing I am worried about is the summer transfer window. Rami and Gervinho look certain to leave and Hazard and Sow could leave at the right price. Hopefully we keep some of these players to do some damage in the Champions League. None-the-less, I've been celebrating all weekend for this historic moment.:D

The only thing that I regret is that Lille did not take part of the CL instead of Auxerre this season. Even though they lack the CL experience that remains important because of the weight of some clubs' prestige, it'd have been interesting to see what this team could do with their best players. Now, Lille performances will also rely on how they will replace Rami and perhaps Gervinho and Cabaye.

Might not have won the League if they had participated in the CL this year.... draining process the Champions League.

looks like Cabaye will move to the Premier League this summer and possibly Gervinho....do you think they both can succeed there? Cabaye looks a bit lightweight but I don't follow French football so closely.

I think Cabaye and Gervinho will do fine in the prem as long as they go to a ball playing side, and not a 'hoof it and pray' team.

AfrcnHrbMan i think they would fit prefect Arsenal have Cabaye paired out with Nasri or taking his place if Nasri goes to inter? have Gervinho up front

What exactly is Gervinho's main/best position? Up front as a striker? I've seen him play all over the place in midfield and attack.....

Benoît Pedretti is still a good player decent signing for LiLLE Pedretti has experience in champions league from different clubs in France what is needed in Lille almost like a backbone like laying down a foundation for LOSC new squad and next year champions league

Bring in Pedretti, Basa, and Payet and keep Hazzard and Sow and its not so bad I guess.

At this rate I'd say we are two weeks away from Sow and Mavuba signing to Bursaspor.

don't make the mistake of thinking dimtri payet will replace anyone. his super start this seaason got him lots of press and even a cap or two, but look at the rest of the season and his career on the whole and you'll see he is the very definition of overrated prospect. f he was ever going to really come good he wouldn't still be at ASSE now would he?
