Borjan again punches away the corner and Sissoko, who has scored 2 for us in 139 games, fires well over from outside the box.
Ndombele almost squeezed a pass through to Son, good defending to clear the danger. Spurs doing a good job with their pressing game.
And now Dier gets a yellow for a regular challenge. Again poor refereeing, after their players got away with several fouls earlier in the game.
A wild sequence ends with Lo Celso shoveling in from about 5 yards out. Spurs counter with Lo Celso playing in Kane, whose initial touch was heavy, but he poked it past the keeper off the post. A scramble ensued, Son has his attempt cleared off the line, Kane lashed the ball across the face of goal, it came off Son and off the bar, before Lo Celso got the final touch to score!
Our defense switches off and van La Parra is allowed to run onto a loose ball in the box to smash off the post, then the rebound comes off the crossbar!
A good first half in a difficult venue. We controlled the play, but they still managed to get 2 good chances off broken plays. That will be something to look out for in the 2nd half as Sanchez and Dier have never played together as a CB partnership.
if anybody needs a very good stream https://www.lmisports.net/crvena-zvezda-vs-tottenham-reddit-soccer-streams-06-nov-2019/
Lucky, lucky Spurs. Ndombele overplays in midfield to set up a Red Star break, but hey messed up teh final ball and it goes out for goal kick. These are the kind of bonehead errors that have continually cost us when we are on top in games.
An away lead at the half? Wake me up when we give up a tying goal in the dying moments of the game. I’m not jaded.
