Kudos to anyone who attended. I was an hour behind schedule, so I just went home (who knew it would go to kicks?). But the crowd, despite being sparse was great, really getting vocal at the end.

Maybe next weekend, with the doubleheader, there will be an even better crowd for the conference final.

I just have to wonder when Wolyniec is going to get a chance at coaching in MLS. Winning another national championship would certainly help his cause.

Anyone here heading to the stadium tonight for the RBII final ?

For those who aren't http://www.uslsoccer.com is doing it right.

Front page is plastered with the game - previews, stats, etc.
Articles on Etienne and Carroll, Meara highlights from the PKs

Despite them not wanting the game at the Arena, they're not hiding this Final :)

Kansas City fan here and I'll be coming

Had a work trip planned for a few months, fortunate timing for me. So there'll be at least one traveling supporter...

Well, that's not the reply I expected but it's great anyway.

Be loud - you'll be heard, and enjoy RB Arena

Great crowd, great night. Wow! What a performance. RB2 took about 25 minutes off in the 2nd half and still managed to dominate the match. Hats off to Brandon Allen. Feed the beast!

Lots of credit to the RB II crowd. I think about 5,000 showed up, but it felt full almost like a regular RBNY game. I got there early and got to sit in the front row, which was cool. The arena really filled up more in the second half when the fans coming from the other game started to show up. Credit also to the South Ward. They were loud, energetic, and basically close to full by the second half.

If Woly doesn't get coach of the year and Allen ROTY something's wrong. But to put it another way the league should recognize this team for what was probably the finest start-to-finish performance in league history. I don't know enough about the league to say Allen should also be MVP but he was pretty clutch converting PK's and scoring other goals when his team needed them.
