Which is why I was cautious/judicious with my comments in the old thread. That said, missing a possibly important player is worthy of discussion--as is the contract issue. We just need to keep the political stuff out of it. A contract that cements the 2017 players in place for a tourney two years later is not my idea of the best way how to win said tourney.
Well, that's the nice thing for you, nobody is compelling you or anyone else to go there. But if anyone wants to respond to the last posts from the mod before he locked the original thread, they can.
Is this the thread where I admit that despite my political views becoming more and more liberal over the past few years I still can't bring myself to give a damn about women's soccer? Or do I confess that in the politics thread?
I attended one.... Back in the day at Westerville North, as I recall, they had an Italy vs somebody (Canada?) game in front of a handful of folks. Bill might remember. At least 20 years ago and possibly even before I met Mrs KG, which was 30 years ago.
I have plenty of times, too. However, I don't think I've watched a single minute of one since the last World Cup and I haven't watched the men since they lost to Trinidad & Tobago to finish qualifying. I can't specifically identify why - it's definitely not on some moral grounds or some other stand - but I've completely lost interest in the national teams over the last few years.
