The RSL Reserves lost to Dallas on Sunday morning in Park City. Three former National Champion Blitzz players got in the game. Will Cummins played for RSL and believe it or not Matt Evans abd Matt Broadhead played for Dallas. I guess Dallas was short players and signed both Blitzz players since they two were in town and not playing for anyone. The irony is that former Blitzz player Matt Broadhead scored the winning goal for FC Dallas in the final minute to down our RSL Reserves. My question is - why the hell are these guys playing for Dallas and not us? In fact why aren't some of them playing for our first team. Clearly they would be better than the cones we have out ther now. Oh yeah and they have a proven track record of success. Sorry - just frustrated!
Re: Real Reserves Lose 3-2 Why? Thats a question on the coach and GM can answer. Do you think these Blitzz guys could score on Garlick and Vanney?
I have no idea how giving away the result for the reserves would be a spoiler, but just in case + for the sake of consistancy, I pulled the result out of the title. They lost 3-2. I'm not too worried about the actual results for the reserve games so much as the experience and form some players show.
I would like to know more on who played and how it went. Any noticable reserves play well, besides the great former Blitzz players?

Uh I don't think anyone suggested the Blitzz players were "great". Maybe "better" but not great. And keep in mind we are talking about the reserves.
wow, so thats what matt evans is up to... i just posted a new thread asking about him... the guy was a freaking PHENOM as a youth player... a complete stud.... how hes not in mls (even riding bench somewhere) is beyond me
I believe that he was just signed for that single game because Dallas didn't have enough eligible players to field a team for that game due to injury and call-ups.
Here is the only update I could find: July 10, 2005 Reserves: RSL 5, Chivas USA http://www.mlsnet.com/MLS/news/team...ntent_id=36092&vkey=pr_rsl&fext=.jsp&team=rsl

That line up looks a lot like the first team from a few weeks ago. Does that say something good or bad about where RSL is going?
