Best thing today was the intensity and enthusiasm. Finally gave the fans their money's worth. Heavy props to the midfield and the defence today. They were pretty much flawless in the second half. Ramos and Varane were solid. Haven't seen that in ages. We have a pretty special core of youngsters....Vini..Regulion..Ceballos.; Still need a couple of strikers...but hats off to the team for today.
Just dropping Lucas would improve upfront situation upfront. Hopeful for a miracle that the latter happens.
2nd half was our best football this season. a lot of passion. MoM are Case and Lukita. I haven't seen Modric play like that since the WC. Casemiro was very mobile and helped a lot to build the attacks. V also had a good game, we need to take advantage of the extra protection he is getting while he has the ball. a lot of the time he was covered by 2 and even 3 Seville players. something to use with a good striker and not that donkey benz who keeps going back to outside of the box. enough said already on V's shooting ability, he needs to work on that hard, but everything else is magic. I also thought Ramos had a good game. when needed he was there and when needed he pushed forward. Ceballos also a very good game as well as Dani. we won't despite LV playing as missing in action player. 74 minutes of waste, followed by 16 minutes of Isco trying to wake up. I think with Isco its already psychological, he looks like the team was looking in the last month - asleep.
