    I'm guessing we'll see Courtois - Marcelo - Ramos - Varane - Carvajal - Kroos - Casemiro - Modric - Vinicius - Benzema - Lucas.

Solari so predictable... Isco gone and dusted. Marcelo can ******** as long he wants, will always start.

Meh the midfield, it’s very likely it would run into the same problem it did against Villarreal but o well at this point I wouldn’t expect any better from Solari.
I like that Vj is starting though, if Marcelo isn’t absolute garbage today then our side should create plenty of goal scoring opportunities today.

Double standards really. Marcelo has been very poor for a long time yet he keeps playing him until he gets injured.

    Solari is a dumbass.

Marcelo is on that bale and benzema status level. Untouchable regardless of performance

I can see why Lucas is playing. He’ll defend when needed because RS are good in attack. Well need him tracking back when they exploit the wing.

I'm really having difficulties understanding why we don't switch to a formation that will suit our forwards more and give our midfield a substantial quality / creativity injection. In others words: why aren't we playing Benzema as a ST with Vinicius in behind (not because he's a superstar, but because he can use his pace and direct running all over the attack) and slot Isco in midfield for some stability and control?

It would make everyone significantly more excited than having to watch that boring wing play and awkwardness on that right wing...

Oh well, at least Vinicius is getting a rare start (I hope).

We can clearly see Isco is not in Solari’s plans

Still don’t get this anti-Isco agenda from Solari.

It's rather strange. Would be nice if the same standards were used for certain other players.

I'm curious to see the effect of having Vinicius instead of a passive Bale.
Reguilon should have got minutes here though.

As raw as Vinicius looks, he’s been a spark in the attack whenever he’s come on, he takes defenders on, gets passed them and is generally a nuisance to opposition defenders.

    Looking forward to watching again.

Isco plays in the middle, who shall we drop? Modric?

Yeah, now despite LV being an idiot, we have two active wings. Let's see how it looks.

Can’t see where he’d play, the formation dooms him IMO, Solari seems to have no interest or ability to change it, personally i’d rather not see him upfront on either wing and don’t think he offers any more in the midfield three than either Toni or Luka at this point

Don't mind seeing him in for Modric at some point in the game if we are comfortable. We should test him there again.

if we can buy another number 9 then we can pair him with Benzema, then Isco can play behind them.
