I think Marcelo should not really play if we have a player who is better, he's made too many mistakes this season
I missed the game. But i see Solari has again opted for B- class football player who on top that days ago got moronic card and ripped his jersey. At the same time he is pro-actively giving discount for Isco transfer in the summer. What a moron.

Its clear that for the rest of the season some veterans need to get benched. Vinicius - Benzema - Isco (Or Brahim if he in good form, everything except LV) Ceballos - Llorente - Kroos/Modric Reguillon - Ramos - Varane - Carvajal
This second half is one of our very best of the season Unfortunately I expect all the usual lazy players starting the next game
We should probably use this lineup over our normal lineup from now on, see where youth takes us at this point.
I think you need to bash senior players like Marcelo who are at fault, however for now I think they need to play as less as possible.
Vinicius is a superstar in the making, although his finishing isnt on point currently but the fact he can create so much for himself and his teammates is what will make him world class one day. great finish too today, Zidane would be proud. Ceballos is the definition of intelligence, he is so freaking clever with the ball and works so hard without it, its criminal how he is not given WAY more minutes. Navas.......i miss you thats all im saying. Valverde is like an octopus, i dont think hes missed a single tackle, he also very good on the ball and has tons of energy, this kid is going places, would love to see him play DM one of these days, i think it will work. Reguillion and Odriozola were both very solid, the latter especially. I still dont think he is as good as Carvajal but its great to have more than capable back up for the spanish international. Vasquez., he actually played well today, no idiotic, unnecessary dribbles for the most part, some slick passes and a goal. Casimero played much better than he did against Sociedad but i guess thats normal since he is getting fitter by the week, hope he keeps this up, i still prefer Llorente though. All in all good result after sunday's debacle. Ive said many times ithat the vets are holding us back at this point and its clear to see everytime most of them are absent, hopefully Solari grows a pair and do what he knows is best for us.
Those were some of the worse games by Modric with our shirt.. that is not how he plays nor should we assume he will always play like that on the next game.
I am so positive now after watching those youngsters. I mean how promising do they look. Valverde , Reguilon, VJ , Ceballos , Odriozola , Brahim... We should offload some of our stars to grant them more playing time. I would however still try to buy a striker to pair with Karim.
I remember Seedorf claiming Vinicius and Valverde would never play for us. Games like today’s make me happy as we prove people wrong. Keep putting trust in these young players and we might be able to take some positives out of this season.
