I want Khedira in the middle of the desert. I'd rather field his gf right now, she would be a much bigger distraction for the players in current form.
One thing Madrid need to do in this game is close down Juve when they get within a 25 yard range of our goal. We shouldn't give them space within this territory because Pogba is back and he can let one rip from far as he has done countless times in Italy. Last thing I want is us dominating play but then conceding a shock goal from range from someone like him... EDIT: Also with Casillas' form this could be even more of an issue.
I want that midfield trio. They are going to be camping inside their box, so we need the best ball movers and possession retainers. Their entire philosophy is going to be waiting for us to make a bad pass or breaking up play to break on us. I like our chances with that midfield than with Ramos again if he isn't locked in. Illara and Lucas just aren't realistic options. I hope Ancelotti attempts to pummel them the first half, then when they attempt to come out strong to recover the second half; bring on Pepe for Benzema/Isco (unavoidable because we all know Bale ain't getting subbed) and move Ramos to midfield to add steel.
Yeah... too bad the genius of the midfield Gravensen left the club, I would liked him to start as well
I second this. I mean DAYUM!! (Move your mouse to reveal the content) I mean DAYUM!! (open) I mean DAYUM!! (close)
At this point, Khedira shouldn't even be making the subs bench let alone getting anywhere near the line-up. He's simply not good enough anymore and should never set foot on the bernebeau turf in a white shirt again.
Not to mention that Isco and James can offer penetrate, which will be crucial. We musn't be content with crossing the ball, but I'm guessing that's what Juve will want to force us into. We need to come out strong, a goal in the first half would do wonders.
It sounded liked the deal is much closer than we previously thought. Figo said he would never play for Real madrid when he already signed the deal. Sir Alex said that he won't sell Ronaldo.... was very angry when Ronaldo left. When we played against Manchester City, he opened the gate of Manchester United as if.... we are the same team. PSG said that he would never work with Perez. After Ancelotti signed with us, they said that Perez is the most honourable businessman. When we could not get through with the Bale deal, his agent said that Bale dreamed to play for Real Madrid and push for the deal. When the agent said something that negative, it actually meant that we are getting much closer.
This tie is too close to call. On one hand you have a super talented team playing at home with nothing to lose against a very physical away team who rested the entire week. Tactically Allegri is Ancelotti's equal so I think its going to come down to a combination of luck and officiating.

Casillas, Carvajal, Varane, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Kroos, James, Isco, Bale, Benzema y Cristiano Ronaldo
Surprising to see Pepe on the bench for this one. Varane gets the nod. Sign of things to come next year?— Lucas Navarrete (@LucasNavarreteM) May 13, 2015
Marca has Pepe in the starting eleven. Is this official? Edit: Actually they have Pepe or Varane in different versions of the starting eleven. Hah.
