This is a do or die situation for our team. If we lose this game, mathematically it is still possible to go to the next round if we sweep our remaining games, but that’d be exponentially more difficult given we still have to play PSG again. This is the team that has all the pedigree of European royalty, but no longer possesses the swagger. We MUST believe that our team can come back and mount a remontada in this tournament. We must have these players EARN the shirt they are wearing. Anything less than 110% to bring us victory will be an affront to this badge.

The last time Real Madrid played in the Europa league was in 1986, when we went onto win the Europa league. To put this in perspective: I was not born when Real Madrid last played in Europa league. Playing and winning the Europa league maybe some kind of solace to lesser teams, but to Real Madrid that is unacceptable. I cannot fathom us losing this game, so we absolutely must believe that this team can turn this around.

    ¡HALA MADRID!

    We're gonna win.

Oh and ******** every single one of you opportunistic ********s who have predict our demise in this match or who are quietly hoping we fail so you can be right on an internet message board.

Gala has had problems scoring for most of the season. We should win this despite our shortcomings

No more Isco please. As much as how lovable his disco footwork are they're useless at this point..

Hoping for some positive results. Don't want to imagine us being bottom of the table.

What is Odriozola doing in this team? I dont wanna see him ever again.

I would start: Courtois, Carvajal, Militao, Ramos, Mendy, Casemiro, Kroos, Valverde, Hazard, Benz and James.

If we’re smart, we’d play Rodrygo with Benzema and Hazard.

Just keep Vinicius off the field until later in the game if needed for energy.

Militao and Ramos should be starting. Keep Varane and his shit show away.

Isco can either stay in the stands or at home.

Wonder if Kroos will start given that he just came back from injury

Cannot let Gala score first , because they are a defensive team.

Why, is he the reason we lost against a mediocre Mallorca, playing whatever it was that this team were doing, especially when attacking, ( I can’t describe it because I’m not sure what they were doing)

players are human, see how many on our team you can name who haven’t made a dumb mistake at some point, anyway, hoping we come up with the much needed win today, would be great if the performance was great too but I just want a win first and foremost I’ll take it anyway it comes.

Agreed regarding Odriozola, with the (important) remark that he's quite an average player. As long as he's used sporadically for rotation purposes, I'm fine with him being on the bench (for the remainder of this season). Also agreed regarding tonight's match. Don't care about how we do it, as long as we get the damn win!

    Hazard - Benzema - ?
    James
    Casemiro - Valverde
    Mendy - Ramos - Varane - Carvajal
    Courtois
The only question is who to play as RW? Maybe it is time for testing Rodrygo from the start?

If the choice is between VJ and Rodrygo for the RW spot, then Rodrygo seems to be the more sensible option. Gala away is a difficult game for an inexperienced youngster (in particular as the team is playing lacklustre to say the least) though, but the options are limited.

Meh no Courtois please, and I co-sign on Rodrygo from the start. I have a feeling that Kroos will start today even though he shouldn’t.

I imagine as it’s ZZ it will be a Toni Casemiro Valverde midfield, upfront I think it will be Hazard Benz and Vin, seeing as the other two are set in stone, personally I’d start James alongside them in that front three they all move around so it shouldn’t be a problem, but that is unlikely, shock sighting being this is ZZ ................Isco again, wouldn’t put it past him.

Since Mendy has been more defense oriented than all of our other FB's i'd start James on RW and task Carvajal with playing forward a lot, he's useless defensively either way.

    Another option:

    Benzema
    Hazard - Valverde - Kroos - James
    Casemiro
    Mendy - Ramos - Valverde - Carvajal
    Courtois
