Isco immediately back in the squad, lovely. The madness has stopped.

I hope to see something like this:

    Navas
    Odriozola - Varane - Ramos - Reguillon/Marcelo
    Asensio - Modric - Ceballos - Isco
    Benzema - Mariano

    Shop window time!

    I'd play 4411

    Isco-Modric-Kroos-Bale
    ----------- Asensio ------------
    ---------- Benzema -----------

A win to start us off right would be ideal.

People can dislike Isco, but what happened just hurt the dressing room as a whole.

Very happy this finally ended. If Isco has to go, it will be discussed at the of the season, and that's it. No more drama.

I thought that I won't watch a single Real Madrid game until August. This was a meaningless game. Suddenly, i can't wait!

We should be careful not to read too much into today's XI. It will be easy to think whoever starts is who he rates going forward. I honestly think everyone will get a chance to prove themselves in these eleven games.

I actually like Isco a lot however I think there is a perfectly rational explanation for what happened.

He was injured when Solari took over and Solari being being new to the job and having to play catch up from 9th place in the table really didn't have breathing room to take chances on an unfit player.

Later on Isco caught an attitude and was expecting to play over others based on reputation and Solari didn't see it that way.

I think another part was that Vinivius became our only hope, and to get the best out of Vinicius seemed to require playing a 4-3-3; and to get the best out of the 4-3-3 meant Isco was way behind other players. It's easy to say bench Kroos, or Modric or Casemiro but the reality is that would have been a huge gamble considering all they have won playing together.

Also, wow, how easy is it to quit when you know the team is going to have a losing season but then come back when the pressure's off because the team is out of every competition having played the toughest fixtures (madrid darby, classico) and you will look like a genius for winning a few games against relegation sides.

Na just a joke. But Solari thought Isco disrespected him during the first training session. So took it personal.

Surprised to see no posts on Bale starting, number 11, half way down the list...

I wouldn't mind Bale to start, it's essential to not deflate his price tag.

If he could go for $75m - $85m in the summer, that would be nice.
