Competition: La Liga Santander - Matchday 5
    Venue: Santiago Bernabeu Estadio
    Date: 20.09.2017
    Time: 20:00 CET

    Expected Lineups:

    Real Madrid:
Navas, Marcelo, Ramos, Varane, Carvajal, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Isco, Bale, Ronaldo

Key players off the bench: Asensio, Ceballos, Llorente, Lucas, Mayoral

Real Betis: Adan, Feddal, Mandi, Durmisi, Guardado, Garcia, Narvaez, Leon, Tello, Joaquin

Key players off the bench: Camarasa, Sanabria, Boudebouz

    Notes:
    • Cristiano finally returns to La Liga! 286 goals in 265 Liga matches in his career! I'm sure he will come out hungry for more!
    • Theo, Kroos, Vallejo, and Benzema are out with injuries.
    • We may see some rotations as this is a home game. We play Alaves at the weekend who have started the season with 4 consecutive losses, which seems to be a game fit for rotations. However, that is an away game and Zidane may want to play it safe.
    • If we score a goal in this game, we will claim the world record of 74 consecutive games with a goal scored!

Glad to have Ronaldo back. Setien's Las Palmas gave us a lot of trouble last year. Can't take Betis lightly.

Nice to have the GOAT back. He must fired up to score some golazos. Looking forward to this game.

Sucks that Theo is out with an injury and Marcelo is serving suspension at the same time. Time for the very reliable Nacho to step up.

    Ronaldo - Bale
    Isco
    Kroos - Casemiro - Modric
    Nacho - Ramos - Varane - Carvajal
    Navas

Marcelo check, Ronaldo check, Isco check - time to make the left side of the pitch great again.

Found out Marcelo's suspension was reduced to just one game which he served so he will start. Feels nice to have a full XI after a while.

The time in the post is wrong, it should be 22:00 CET (it's correct in the title).

A must win game, we have to be perfect and wait for Barcelona to drop points, we can't afford another slip up.

Would love to see Ceballos get some game time against his old squad.

Guess Dani is playing. Achraf not even called up.

Zizou said he's gonna run with Carva at the moment. That the physical part of it is not a concern right now.

Perhaps a stretch of games is a good thing for Carva. Get this bad form out of your system.

I don't mind Zizou "betting" on Carvajal. He's proven people wrong before.

With that said I really would like to see Aschraf see some playing time in case we ever do get to the point where he has to be relied on, and there is a pretty good likelihood of that happening.

Fun fact : both Llorente & Achraf's contracts expire in 2018.

Going all out. We have had issues in our previous two home games with complacency, so I guess this is a message from Zizou to the boys.

That whole dangerous segment was on Carvajal passing it to Casemiro in a tight spot when Dani had better options forward
