Need a favor from one of you local SoB. My buddies cannot make the game now because of the rescheduling, thus leaving me without a way down. Anyone willing to give me lift down and back? I'd be more than happy to provide gas money or whatever.

I'll be there. I wonder who the Union player is going to be?

    Anyone have any guesses?

I would think Mondragon will travel to KC> I'm thinking it will be former RU star Levi Houpeau

sure you dont want to come Dave? I'm certain this will be more fun :)

Why would you want to actually be at the game when you can watch it on TV in a bar while hanging out with a Union player? Man, you got to get your priorities straight.;)

I'm also guessing that it will Levi, but I'm curious as why Mondy would travel to KC if he can't play and not join us. Isn't MLS pretty strict about the numbers on your travel roster, so why would he travel?

All the Rowdy Doyles' will be there! Should be a good time. Would love to see Levi again, maybe we get a few of the local kids like Richter and Langley too.

From Richter's tweet: "Hangin in the hotel waiting for this game tonight."

So I guess we can rule out Richter coming to the Red Card party. Could we see the Sheanomenon at GNA tonight? That would be DOOPtastic!

    Guys,

I just called and talked to GNA about watching tonight's game and it looks like they cannot show it because of the Phillies game and how they have their TVs set up.

Honestly, I'm very pissed off about it. They have a big soccer promotion last week wanting us to come out and watch the game at their establishment and hang out with Freddy Adu and want to claim that they are the "soccer pub" in town and now we can't even watch the game without sound.

I understand that this is a big Phillies game and I'm all for it, but I just want to be able to watch the Union game because I don't have Comcast and I don't think that it is too much to ask for that.

I suggest that you call GNA if you were planning on attending tonight and find out what's going on. Their number is 610-376-1155.

We can do this game at my house. I'll have both the Phillies and Union on.

I don't understand why they couldn't show both? They have DirecTV with Direct Kick and Comcast. Both games were available on both providers... where's the issue?

Apparently they can't show the game because of how they have the TVs setup. They said that they could not show the game on the big screen in the backroom because they said that it is connected to the TVs at the bar. This is not true because they have done it a few times before the last game being the Columbus away game.

At this point a few of us are going to contact the Union, Reading United, and GNA and let them know that this is not acceptable and that as of now we will not be coming back. I understand that the Phillies were the big thing last night, but just a week ago I was watching a Union game there with Freddy Adu because they invited him for the Red Card Party which they asked us to go to for most of the summer as a promotion for GNA and the Union and now I can't even watch the game on one TV with no sound. They can't claim to be a Union friendly soccer pub one week and then we can't watch the game the next week.

Once I contact everyone I'll let you all know what happens. But if you do like watching games at GNA I suggest that you do the same thing.
