Looks like a good deal. Has anybody else heard about this?

    Here is my translation:

FC Kaiserslautern is increasing cooperation with the US youth soccer association "US Youth Soccer Europe." Both have agreed to a far-reaching collaboration. the deal first runs through the end of the current season and will be extended on a yearly basis. The goal is a more intensive cooperation in order to develop and support US players in all of Europe. Up to ten teams in the U9-U19 age groups will be supplied with training equimpement and coaches. Practice fields and meeting rooms will also be made available.
US Youth Soccer Europe will pick the players and provide the uniforms. This engagement will gave the prospects the opportunity to develop further in a professional environment. FCK, from their side, will then have the pick of the best players from US Youth Soccer Association Region 1, which is comprised of over 1.2 million players. As the club stated, the accord also allows for further develop of the good "neighborlyness" with the large American community in the region.
