Raul Mendiola from Arsenal FC just got the Academy player of the year award for the 2nd year in a row. Anyone know where he is going to play college/professionally??
More US players should do so, college can wait until you are older. Fitness and learning decrease once a player is in their 20s. I teach college and many students are in their 20s already because either they couldn't afford it at 18 so had to work, or were not interested when they graduate HS. Students are more interested in doing well when they have learned a bit about life.
