Subbed out in the 61st minute today, when the Wolves were down 1-0.

Another meh game for Raul. He's been coming off the field early, looks like NES is getting frustrating with him. Luckily for Rulas there's none in the squad to threaten his job but many Wolves' fans are already demanding to bring a new striker onboard once the transfer window reopens in January.

The positive tweets are from mexicans though. I doubt they are representative of Wolverhampton fans' opinion.

He has been a positive influence in other areas, but 2 goals in 10 games as a striker ain't gonna cut it.

If they pass on him after the loan it wouldn’t be the first time a player is discarded despite some moderate success. This is where it’s kind of hard to judge a player. As a striker there’s no doubt his numbers are bad. Who knows how highly the coach rates all the other stuff.

This team is trash and was punching above their weight. Nothing new.

All because Raul didn't do well and is falling out of favor?

Who else is there in the squad to play as center forward? Leo Bonatini? Raul started the season in a scoring fashion and was popular with the fans for that, but the tide is turning. Just look at what's being said in social media, supporters are already asking to bring in a new striker in January. He's only a loanee they don't have to be patient with him. He needs to beef up his game because if another striker were to be signed, he'd be relegated to the bench. and it wouldn't be long until you'd see him moving to liga MX or the MLS.

This guy has gone downhill since leaving Atletico De Madrid. He had his time to shine with Benfica. After that Greek guy left, the starting spot was up for grabs along with Jonas, but no he lost his starting spot to that guy Seferovic. As much as I want this dude to succeed, he just doesn't cut it. I would think at his age he would've been in his prime by now. Flashy passes and a goal here and there doesn't cut it any top league.

Their last two losses have been against scrub teams. Watford and Brighton. I mean, they have enough talent on the squad to win these types of games. He needs to score. And score now.

    Geez. Tough crowd here.

Players abroad brings out the worst in people.

He'll be fine. It's not like Wolves were going on a prem league title run lol.

If anything they're doing pretty good for a team that just recently got promoted.

Cardiff and Fulham can't say the same.

It's comical how the spazzos blame Raul yet Neves, Moutinho, Jota havent done anything worth a damn

Both of you are not wrong. Unfortunately, management doesn't care about that at all. Either he produces or he doesn't. There's not denying his talent but this dude needs a little more consistency.

Goal scoring isn't Neves, Moutinho and Jota's main responsibility, it's Raul's. Also I'm not sure why Neves, Moutinho and Jota's performance would be discussed in a "Mexican abroad" forum.
Raul is wears the #9 and is marketed as a center forward. A center forward who doesn't score goals is no different than a CB who can't tackle.

The formation and players doesn't lend itself to the forward scoring many goals on this team. Both CM aren't attacking oriented and don't provide any goal scoring passes. It's just side to side and back. Jota is just a ball hog who doesn't pass.

I still say he will end up top 10 in scoring and assists this season.
