No, I specifically said the view of "some that have been moderated". I used those words for a reason, specifically so you would not think I was categorizing all of you. One of us has failed miserably and I dont think it was me.
I agree, he remains an effective president in spite of the Congress elected with the CWA. The only reason I voted for his wife was she wasn't Donald J Trump, or Jill Stein, or the laughable libertarian Gary Johnson. Not that it mattered, given the political demographics of Oklahoma Maybe they're attacking you, because of other reasons, like being an insufferable dick for the last decade or being fixated on her, well after the election. Personally, I don't care if I ever hear a word out of either one of them again Bingo What's hard to fathom, that after god knows how many thousands of hours of investigation on various and sundry "crimes", no one could ever come up with enough evidence to convince a grand jury that a crime had been committed by her and the only thing they could get Bill for was impeachment proceedings for Obstruction and Perjury. Either they were investigated by the most incompetent investigators in the history of the world, or there was never anything more than Bill's sexual crimes and the coverup
You know, even I was that low, it wouldn't matter for the Choctaw - they're a no quantum tribe - I could be 1/4096 and that's good enough for them. The Good Ol "Just One Drop" Rule rides again
Somebody might have already posted it but, if not, an interesting piece from BBC north America's Katty Kay... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-42200092 That whispering you hear from American women right now? It's not elation, it's anxiety; the fear of a backlash. Just two months since the Harvey Weinstein accusations emerged, women here are already concerned that this revolution will indeed eat its own. This is a surprisingly controversial topic, because even raising a potential backlash against the #MeToo movement smacks of appeasement, of wanting to let predators off the hook. There are women who say it's been so unfair for so long that if a few innocent men get wrongfully accused, that's a price they are happy to pay. I'm a lot more comfortable with the first half of that sentiment than the second. To be clear, no one wants to stop this movement, we want to to keep it alive in a way that creates safe work places and ends up helping women, rather than hurting us.
Pure opinion under the guise of news, and she mashing up a few different points, and brushing a very broad stroke that this issue is only about women.
Brock Turner is appealing his June sexual assault conviction and looking for a retrial https://t.co/j8hZNh8YLX— TIME (@TIME) December 4, 2017 So apparently three months time served is too much for raping an unconscious woman.
This confirms for me just how much of a dumbass this guy is. Has he not been paying attention to...well, anything? He thinks a retrial in this environment is going to go well?
I don't think she makes a secret of the fact that she's making an analysis of the position as she sees it. That's what she's employed to do, after all. Here's another one... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-42029975 As to whether her analysis is right... that's another matter.
