Guardiola isn't nearly as petty as Mourinho, and the English media are pretty terrible in the way they go after people. One thing that bugs me regarding City's fullbacks: Kolasinic is available on a free, and City are desparate for fullbacks. Why haven't they been linked with him?
One of the listener questions on the recent Arsecast was what Arsenal-y name to use for their new Yellow Labrador puppy. Some answers were: Nacho (but a bit too cheezy, huh?) Bark Overmars Cesc Labrogas But Andrew's suggest was just "Sanchez" which I have to say sounds just about right, given his love of dogs, and how that would sound when you yell "here Sanchez!" Feel free to add on.
they may have already agreed a fee with another fiullback, i just perused the Manc evening news and they are linked with Mendy (from Monaco)..he suits their style much more than Kolasinic imho
On today's Arsecast, one listener question was: "If you had your choice to replace 'Fly Emirates' on our kit, when it comes up for renewal, what sponsor would you choose?" Three answers from Andrew/James that I liked: 1) Apple 2) Canon 3) None As awesome as #3 would be for some of us who remember those days without corporate sponsorship, it would look a bit weird unless everyone in the league did the same. See AS Roma? For me, as long as we steer clear of a betting company, and towards some firm that shows some class and morals, I'm OK with it. I saw that Target is on MUFC's shirts. No, not that MUFC. I thought that simple bulls-eye logo looked great!
MUFC fan (the team from Minnesota, not Manchester), and while the sponsor is decent, the kit itself is pretty "meh." (Target is based here for those who don't know) There wasn't enough time from when the team was announced to move to MLS for adidas to design and manufacture the kits, so they had to go with a basic template for this season.
In the transfer thread I was musing that Sanchez was our MVP this year. Which got me thinking... does the club do an official MVP award? I can't remember one, but then again my memory ain't perfect. I know they do fan polls for player-of-the-month, goal-of-the-season, etc. But no MVP??
Whoa! Classic bait-and-switch, corporate-greed. I'm sure this will be discussed in the NBC thread, so I'll so no more squire...
Actually, $50 bucks would be great if it were all the games, including replays. The silly thing is the cable subscription requirement. Compared to league pass where the offering is even worse. This in-the-middle-of-cable-and-cord-cutter crap is BS. Hopefully the internet wins sooner rather than later.
