Arshavin is 35 years old. If he can get a run out in Kazakhstan, then more power to him. Personally, I prefer to remember him this way . . . .
I'll never get over how much Arshavin looks like my grandma. You say he's 35; I'm pretty sure he's 85.
he ********ed himself over, i dunno what he was doing. and i dont agree Wenger played him out of position as some say, we had cesc as the number 10, there's no way Wenger wouldn't have played Cesc in any other role.
http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20170327/the-breakdown-shad-forsythe-special First time I've really seen him come from behind the curtains and speak. Seems a smart guy. I wonder if we're better off with him than we were before him. My gut says probably. And this year we seem to have had less soft-tissue injuries to damage our squad... am I right about that?
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...al-Chelsea-transfer-Zidane-Gerrard-Ronaldinho But he's won a league unlike Gerrard...
I guess I'm not familiar enough with the Spanish Leagues: is there an incentive for getting relegated?
Just stayed up late and watched this new documentary on Rocky & Wrighty... I'm remiss to say that I missed out on Rocky. The mid-80's and early-90's was my low point as a Gooner. But then thankfully Rupert Murdoch, FoxSoccer & the EPL came along, which changed EVERYTHING for me. But alas I still missed out on the beauty that was Rocky.
what a fantastic documentary. for someone like myself who didn't start supporting the team until the early 2000s to see just how good a player Rocky was is just awe-inspiring. Also eff Vardy, Wrighty is the original non-league to big club superstar!
As horrible as this season has been, this is by far the worst thing to ever happen to Arsenal. http://deadspin.com/barron-trump-is-a-gooner-1794452076
I get the Trump hate, of course; but to place an 11-year-old kid - no matter how contemptible his dad - above Osama Bin Laden in the hierarchy of shame-support is pretty harsh.
Good point mate. Let's just hope his daddy doesn't buy him son a soccer team for Christmas. There was a Twitter comment about how cool this was for a kid to do on the WH lawn. Right on. Reminded me of how I used to get through church services by day dreaming about clearing out all the benches and having a nice match of footy!
He'll be given one more year to win something significant. If not, then the pressure may be on him big time.
Pep has made City better. Their problem is that they didn't have a functioning midfield and that their fullbacks are the ones Arsenal had ten years ago.
Yes, but if he doesn't make sure to get that fixed this summer, seeing tangible benefits next season, he may find himself walking on thin ice. And speaking of thin, in many of his post-match interviews this season he's show some rather thin skin in his first season in England. To me this has been a little surprising and something I'd really like to see him rise above. Both he and Mourinho have acted more like teenagers at times than guys in their 40's or 50's. That's one thing they could certainly use to improve on IMHO. I'd say I regularly turn off or skip the interviews of about half of the EPL managers, and sadly these 2 "giants" have become part of that half.
