Here's a nice feel-good story about Alex Scott visiting a kids pitch that AFC & Save the Kids put up in an Iraqi refugee camp. I think she was an excellent ambassador for this project. Well done! http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20160318/alex-scott-in-iraq
Reading this http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20160321/international-watch-gunners-in-action, I found out that Gabriel has suddenly switched nationalities and scored an important winner for his previous arch-rival Argentina. Nice work to all responsible for that!
WELL DONE to Mo Elneny, who picked up the fans' POTM award: http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20160330/elneny-is-vitality-player-of-the-month Now maybe you rate enough to get your own thread on BigSoccer? My choice Danny Welbeck was a close 2nd. Edit: I just noticed that Mo also won GOTM award too. Plus he played all of Eqypt's 2 qualifiers against Nigeria, in which they got 4 of 6 pts. An exciting March it was for him!
#Citroen & @Arsenal are building world’s 1st retractable roof at the Emirates! #C1Airscapehttps://t.co/xQL8eLTeqJ— Citroën UK (@CitroenUK) April 1, 2016
Brilliant - can't wait for "April 1, 2017" when this is "installed." That 8% on-field improvement will be so worth it...
1) Cheeky, funny 2) Advertisers leave no stone unturned in pushing their message. And trying to pull the wool over our eyes.
The Walking Dead's producer, Gale Ann Hurd, is an Arsenal fan. http://www.espnfc.us/blog/espn-fc-u...-dead-gale-anne-hurd-talks-soccer-and-zombies Best line from the interview came from Andrew Lincoln (Rick) who was mistaken for Ryan Giggs back in 1998... and not dispelling the myth...
So Usmanov has been implicated in Mossack Fonseca, and I was so close to posting yesterday predicting that he would be. So predictable. Maybe we can hope for the Waltons and Kroenke to get implicated as well?
What is even more predictable that so few Western notables are implicated. People are so gullible, not you Llama just the general public with their hue and cry about this mind you.
TBF I read something by the SudeDeutsche editor who said the US stuff was coming up in another round of reports. But yeah, I mean you have most of the mainstream media focusing on HOW COULD A PANAMA LET A COMPANY GET AWAY WITH THIS??? smh I find it really hard to believe that anything could come of this.
There is over 200 US citizens cited already in the Panama papers. Let's also note that these papers are from just one firm in Panama and are just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. I am willing to bet that more leaks will happen in the near future from Tax heaven places like the Bahamas, Cayman Is, Seychelles and others... Having said that, as mentioned in this enlightening article below: "Americans can form shell companies right in Wyoming, Delaware or Nevada. They have no need to go to Panama to form a shell company to use for illicit activities." http://fusion.net/story/287671/americans-panama-papers-trove/
According to The Hypothetical Premier League, we would be ahead of Tottenham and 2 points behind Leicester with a game in hand over both teams if referees made no mistakes (not including this weekend's matches). http://thehpl.net/1250-2/
Even in the midst of a disappointing season, they still manage to have fun playing... Headis? http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20160418/arsenal-players-play-airbump-headis
