Cool - thanks for sharing the link -- weird though I thought he had to have his work permit to be announced as a signing. In any event that might explain why he was left out before. Hopefully he does makes his debut on Saturday! Massive game against Leed's biggest Yorkshire rivals, Sheff United.
yea unfortunately for Ramon he plays in an area where there are a lot of options. Things might change though as Robert Snodgrass came off the bench and got two yellows so that might give Ramon an opening to at least get on the bench.
well Ramon made the bench, not a good day for the team though http://soccernet.espn.go.com/match?id=297999&league=ENG.2&cc=5901 Probably will be changes after that though so maybe he makes his debut, I'll stop predicting, just
Ramon made it back in time -- no doubt he is tired though Game will be on fox soccer plus if anyone wants to watch in hopes of getting a glimpse of Ramon.
On the bench for todays match against Sven Goran Ericksson's Leicester City side: Guessing he didnt make the bench last weekend cause of all the travel. People seem positive about Ramon so I'm hoping he will be handed his debut sooner rather then later.
Played in a closed doors match this week against a strong Stoke side and scored a goal: Clearly Ramon is doing all he can to get his debut. Hopefully that will come soon.
United play Cardiff tomorrow night - will let you know how he plays if he does - but that appears unlikely with Grayson's unreasonable bias towards playing Jonny Howson in central mid. Would you Hondurans say Ramon is any good on the wings or is he utilized best as a 'CAM'?
Wings! he is much better cutting inside from the right, and then taking a shot or dribbling and getting space for Forwards to move into for him to pass.
He's made his debut today -- came off the bench in a 4-0 rout by Cardiff -- apparently he has looked to be one of the few players with any concern. January is shaping up to be a month with lots of ins and outs if results like this continue. One would imagine that Ramon should continue to see playing time going forward.
I just finished watching the game, Ramon had 2-3 good opportunities and felt very confident with the ball. good debut.
Ramon Nunez just came off the bench in about the 83rd minute against Scunthorpe United. Leeds are up 4-1.
Sounds like hes been a lively player so far... Had a shot that went just wide and Leeds fans gave him a "Nunez, Nunez, Nunez" chant the commentator described him as the kind of player who makes you stand up to see what hes going to do.
Thanks for the updates! Glad to hear that he debuted in the league http://www.diez.hn/Secciones/Legion.../Ramon-Nunez-jugo-en-triunfo-del-Leeds-United
Latest on him from Jan. 1 is that Leeds were considering offering him an extended contract: http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/leedsunited/Leeds-United-Whites-may-keep.6676487.jp Things are a bit light in the midfield with midfielder Neil Kilkenny off with Australia at the Asian Cup of Nations.
