Yeah, maybe. I just think he didn't like being left out of the lineup every other game. Again, no evidence except for observing body language.
I LOVE the selection of Caleb Norkus to help coordinate the club’s youth initiatives and community outreach activities. "Norkus, who played for the RailHawks from 2007-2010, will serve as the club’s Youth Soccer Ambassador and Manager of Community Outreach. He will also serve as an assistant coach on Martin Rennie’s staff." This is great news. Caleb is a class act and is great with the kids! Community outreach is a task that few athletes are suited for. Caleb has the temprament, verbal skills, knowledge and passion for the game that will definitely help build the RailHawks brand. Made my day!
Tonight in Wilmington, Andryi Budnyy scored the first goal in a 2-1 victory and was named man of the match for the Hammerheads. They also had 2984 in the stands.
Hooray for Heinemann : Former RailHawks Forward Makes MLS Best XI http://www.nasl.com/index.php?id=3&newsid=578
In addition to starting, Heinneman was robbed of a goal, leading to the save of the week. http://www.portlandtimbers.com/news/2011/05/perkins-edges-tight-field-win-save-week
Mindboggling. It looks like they blew up a low quality thumbnail. I can save the original at a very low quality and it still looks fine. It drives me nuts with editors make some of my best photos look embarrassingly bad. Grrr.
Whatever the details, it makes their article look less professional, which is dumb. Not like they don't have access to it at higher resolution than that. Yeah. Thankfully it reflects worse on them than on you, but it still sucks. (Also: when it isn't made to look like ass, I really love that shot. The position he's in is just so perfect.)
Complain to their web person and send them the hi-res equivalent. Ask them to contact you before they use another one of your shots to verify they're using the right image.

Daniel Paladini started tonight with Chicago Fire @ Kansas City. He is involved in the action. Just had a shot-deflected. His profile picture on MLS site shows him in RailHawks kit. http://www.mlssoccer.com/players/daniel-paladini Mexico v Cuba tonight in Charlotte -great first half.

Amir Lowery was back for the game on Sunday (playing for Montreal of course), sporting an interesting Mohawk sort of 'doo. Sort of OT: I hope for his sake he can stay with their team next year when [if?] they join the MLS, but I imagine that most all of the players will be replaced, just like the Timbers did when they moved to the MLS. Even further OT: Seems to me like we need to have promotion/relegation between leagues based on performance, not just "licensing" or whatever. It's silly to me to have a crappy season (which it looks like Montreal is having) then scrap the entire team to move up. Maybe that's not realistic given the different size markets that all these teams are in (i.e. LA vs Cary, etc), but that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it
So it's good that promotion is based on money and not performance. Never realized the rest of the world was doing it wrong.
There is no "promotion" Montreal Impact are not being "promoted" to MLS. The Vancouver Whitecaps, Seattle Sounders, and Portland Timbers were not "promoted" either. If you can't understand that, I can't help you.
Brad Rusin has been named the NASL Defensive Player of the Week for the 3rd time and was reportedly off to Denmark to play with ?
