There's some media and fans who are hyping up the young players and with good reasons.
But all I hear from the manager and the higher ups is that Falcao is a World Class player who is the leader of the team. A focal point of their success.

I hope that Mbappe doesn't become just a hype; it's exciting to see the start of a potential legend in the books.

Champions and ligue 1 are the priorities, coupe de France is in the back burner.

While you're not wrong this club is trophy hungry and their hardwork and improvement show it. It could frustrate them if they don't win as many as possible.

If he continues to score while winning all of that, it should definitely constitute a podium finish.

However, I see that award as, specifically, a popularity contest. Mbappe is a reality. His emergence in past few months as Monaco continues to go deep in each tournament has made him the talk of football.

So much so that, unless Falcao completely overshadows Mbappe and everyone else in the final matches, the award will go to Messi by default.

The way I see it, even if Ronaldo and Messi get injured or retired, the award will go to Neymar, Just because. Even if Falcao scores in every tournament, ends as the topscorer and wins the Champions. The only thing that matters to FIFA is exposure and money. And he doesn't Play for Real or Barca unfortunately.

El balon de Oro ahora lo eligen solo los periodistas .....ya solo es franquicia de France football

    No hay FIFA

Y si Las tendencias son Las mismas , estos so eligen Al mejor del ano

I don't know guys feels like Rey v Angel debate. Rey did better but because Angel basically left him open. The 18 year old kid is great don't get me wrong but he isn't being marked as toughly because of Falcao and Silva

Rumors he is going to China this summer. I can't see him risking his WC spot going to Asia.

Even after the WC I can't see him going to Asia this dude is insanely rich. Didn't he make 15 million euro 1st year at Monaco, Man U and Chelsea each year?

When he isn't good enough for top Euro league I see him back at River.

I'd like that too. But, he should go back to River to play out his years like he dreamed of doing when he left.

If the Beck's Franchise in Miami ever get's off the ground that would be the perfect fit for Falcao.
Then he can go to River after that. Then Milonarios.:p

Doubt it he doesn't seem like a dude hungry for money and like I said before he is uber rich. Mi
Teams in Florida don't work. Also more Colombians + more fun in NY.

Teams in Florida didn't work at first. But have you seen Orlando? They have a good fanbase and one of the best Soccer Stadiums in MLS now.

I think it will be an option for Falcao to go to Miami. Not sure he will take it though but it is an option.

Falcao hit the post after a couple of sweet moves to fake out his marker. (And a great pass by the teenage phenomenon Mbappé .)

A shame he did not score there.

Did not score today but played well.
Hopefully the balls bounce into the net against Juve.

The fact that he's playing well enough makes me happy. It shows that he's capable.

Lost 2-0. First time I can remember Falcao going scoreless in this big a game. Fingers crossed he can score them away.

He was battered, brusied and double teamed a lot as I expected with Juve's organization.
When he did get his chances he would send them straight to Buffon.
I am just happy he survived the blows to the knees and the head.

Monaco was a bit better in the opening minutes, but Juve took control very quickly and won it fair and square. The 3 CB's of Juve killed both Falcao and MBappe and there's nothing they can do. Juve is simply a much better team. They won't make it to the final, but now I hope that Juve will kick Real and Zidane's ass.
