Cannavaro sucks for Real... prob there weakest defender they want to get rid of him

Look everyone thinks players of big teams are better just cause of their Uniforms but both teams have pretty crappy players in certain positions but I do like Serigio Ramos but I think he gets away with alot because he is spanish..... as for Pujol.... do u remember the goal he scored in the world cup?

Spain has a crap coach and a media that is against them

i know this isnt a good example but in spains match against russia i saw ramos make plenty of runs and a header or 2. but anyway i dont even know why were talking about this in the falcao forum haha. i think he would do best in italy because lets face it, italian football is technical football. i think that is perfect for falcao to thrive in. Only thing about england is the physical aspect. they tend to play kick and rush + foul for the hell of it type of football.

But at the same time, it's another reason to go there because if you find success, they'll build anyone up.....

they are looking at C.Zapata that is valued at 20 million, and just bought Vargas for 12-15..... so Im sure they got money especially if they sell Mutu...

They need a New CB as their Czech starter/captain is going to Athletico MAdrid ..... so I see Zapata going

I dont know about Falcao as I havent heard a rumor about him in a long long time..... River really f'd him over because they didnt play him right and he wasnt scoring.... and him not starting for our NT is prob going to hurt his chances at a big club too...

Well the River fans are all saying he is going to leave this summer but no one knows where to and PSV wouldn't actually be a bad thing for a season or 2 cause Ruud, Ronaldo, Farfan and other have shined there but i think Italy and Spain are perfect for him at the moment.

PSV is ok for like a Freddy Montero, Juan Pablo Pino, Hernan Cordoba... or another up and coming player that they can turn into a true Gem.....

I think right now Falcao is a gem for us or just a media friendly player for Us... and thats why he is so popular a strong top 3 league will show us what he truely is. Sometimes he looks like a beast our perfect #9 that is what we have been praying for since 1998( Angel was too injury prone and was never used right) but then sometimes Falcao is just awful awful and I think he just on the team because how he looks..... we all know that Renteria or Rodallega would have never been allowed to play at River

I think he should go to Spain or Italy because they play more like we do be an easy transition, and the language wont be as hard as england(which he wont get a premit not enough NT appearances)

    RIVER PLATE, Porto want Falcao
    18.06.2008 14.05 by Redazione TMW read 174

Radamel Falcao Garcia (22), strong striker of River Plate, is one of Porto's targets. Team that will play in Champions League next season want acquire the columbian striker from Millionarios club.

    Renteria....Guarin+Falcao???

Mini Colombian Nt at porto haha but I doubt they would have 2 colombian strikers starting so hopefully Renteria will get a transfer or Falcao will go somewhere else

I still prefer Falcao in Spain at Coruna or in Italy

When is the last time Falcao has scored???? its been a long long time and he play'd like shit in europe and seemed out of shape....

Edixon scored 2 goals the week b4 he got called up, Rodagella has been doing well for his team in mexico....

lets not hey lets bring Falcao when the truth is the kid isnt doing well and even the river fans say so... maybe its alot of u are in love with this kid... or maybe its just afirmative action cause he is the only white player on the team

Falcao has not been doing well for river(the position he is playing) or the Nt for a while so Pinto putting players doing well at their clubs

    A) There is no objective argument that Falcao was in better or worse form than Perea or Moreno:

He played better than Perea in Europe. He may not have scored recently for River, but he's done the job asked (was discussed as an MVP candidate earlier in the season) and contributed to their winning a very elusive championship. He's a hero there and if you go on their forums you'll find he's amongst the players they really wish they can hold onto this summer.

    B) You're argument that others WERE in good form is crap.

Moreno scored even fewer than Falcao this season because, he just like Falcao, was playing a more withdrawn role. Perea had gone scoreless for 9 league games before that match at Fluminense and was playing so poorly that he was refusing to speak to the press.

    C) The only person here that talks about Falcao's looks or being in love with him is you. Yet you keep doing it? Creepy...

    D) I hope he gets more of a shot to get comfortable in the side, he's one of the few Colombian players I've seen with the tendency to be clutch when it matters most. He picks up his game in big matches and he scores movie goals.

Yea but all our strikers right now are crap its just annoying everyone gets so mad when Falcao is not playing its not like he has scored in a qualifer for us just Rodallegas(Crap goal) and Dayros almost offside goal is all we have gotten

None of our strikers are in the best form right now and for some people to call for pinto's head or say falcao should not accept more call ups to the NT is just plain stupid

When he goes back to that goalscorer he was last season then taht argument is ok, but right now its who ever is playing better and I think pinto finally got it that Perea isnt going to work.

truth is we have 4 pretty good strikers in Rogallega,Falcao, Dayro, Renteria but we just dont ahve the midfield they need we keep playing air ball with them or trying hail marry passes to them because we want to play with a #10

Moreno didnt score much because of injury and also because of his position like u mentioned. but still managed to put in a good 5 goals.wasnt that the same amount as falcao. perea was embarrasing in Lima and dont know wats going with him. what really suprised me this match is , did pinto really expect to win with one striker? and just to slip it in here... macnelly was outplayed by Gio.

as for rodallega...well he does better then perea. and think falcao or dayro must take that second spot.

Falcao scored 8 (4 in League, 4 in Copa) and has one game left this weekend. He also missed games due to injury and the NT call up for the Euro trip.

Agreed on Giovanni. For me thats more of an indictment of how Macnelly played than anything else...

All I have to say is this:

We might have seen the last of E.Perea with Renteria coming back.
