So are any former antitrumpers now actually glad that racist won? If just for the entertainment he provides. I now see that it's actually necessary for white supremacy to increase in order to make raccoons wake up. There are certain attitudes within certain POC communities that can probably only be eradicated if shit gets real.

 

But gotta realize that this is a new type of white/ethno nationalism.

They accept Jews, for one. Ben Shapiro is an absolute darling of the far-right. Trump has stated how much he loves Israel from when he was on the campaign trail and they didn't care.

They're also ok with gays. Milo Yiannopoulus is openly gay, flamboyant even, yet they were more than ok with him.

Seems like this new alliance between the old-school rural white nationalists, younger more urban bigots, and well-off ethno-nationalists (Pat Buchanan types) have as their foundation: 1) being anti-Muslim, 2) being anti BLM, 3) being anti-immigrants, and 4) being anti the cultural aspects of progressivism (feminism, anti-racism, environmentalism, etc)

The make-up of the people isn't THAT important anymore.

 

That said, Shapiro and Yiannopoulos are both White. J. Edgar Hoover was White, too, just like Milo. But he wasn't on board with Dr. King and Minister Malcolm- in fact, he worked against them at every turn.

 

They finally figured out something I've known because of my eastern European relatives all my life: slavs can be racist as all get out. So, "welcome aboard."
