That was a shit tactic used by the ADO coach. Johnsen might just as well have taken a sit on the bench while he got about no ball at all.
Overall the match was total crap, with a highlight by Kik, who dribbled into the box and combined there with the guy who gave the pass from which they scored.

 

Heerenveen have been playing below their potential this year, and ADO has been punching above their weight since Xmas.

 

If PEC Zwolle keeps on being the worst team sofar in 2018 in the Eredivisie, they could swap places with ADO and that makes ADO a play off team.

Could. I've only watched a few ADO games - they seem pretty crap. But then again, everyone below Vitesse has been questionable and even Vitesse and 'veen have been unconvincing much of the year.

 

PEC was actually pretty good before the winter break, so this run in the new year was a major disappointment. But that's an issue with most teams apart from the top teams in the league. When they get a good half season, the pressure of expectations mounts and then they collaps. Somehow these teams cannot handle the pressure.
The same with H'veen.

 

'veen is 6-5-3 since the break, I think. Only major screwups were losing Zwolle and Excelsior and tying Roda, maybe. Tied PSV... They're a 6-7 team but have been sitting closer to 8-9 much of the season. If the choke v. NAC next game you'll have a point. (Your boys better be careful though, Utrecht has an easy last three - don't get so concerned with AZ that you let 'veen knock you into 5th last game! lol.)

I can imagine he's quite an interest. Norwegian-American and a giant scoring in Holland when it might be just as likely to see him in say the NBA.

That's a brace against PSV as well. It's going to help his profile. There should be significant bids in for him after the season from better Championship sides and their ilk. But it might behoove him and ADO to wait a season if they believe he's legit because the top 4 leagues require corroboration.

He was pissed during the match that he wasnot allowed to kick the penalty.
He should know ADO was still fighting for a play off ticket and penalties are being taken by the guys specialized in it and not by the one who feels an urge to it.

In the footy show Voetbal Insite thy criticized the penalty taker for not letting him take it. They said he should have understood how important it is for Johnsen to become top scorer.

 

He's tied at 2nd place. No penalties taken. A goal every 2 games.

Their final game is against Roda. I guess he should be favored to score

He's actually scored more league goals than Jozy did during his first season in the NL.
