Did any other striker have a brace this weekend? I'm surprised no 1 has 25-30 goals at this point in the season. I know it's quite a stereotype, but it's 1 i like to keep close to the heart
For those with a Yank Abroad bias: http://www.sc-heerenveen.nl/nieuws/sc-heerenveen-ado-den-haag-de-historie/10 17 april, 20:45 uur Eredivisie sc-heerenveen-ado-den-haag The battle between a YA central defender and a YA succesfull striker.
Flo was also a very tall Norweigan striker who was reputed to have exceptional footskills "for a big man." Flo, to his credit, had a few pretty successful years at Chelsea, then was sold to Rangers (back around the Reyna/little General/Dutch invasion era) in what was then the "most expensive signing if a Norweigan ever..." kind of thing. And he promptly fizzled pretty badly. If BJM were to really turn out to be as "bad" as Flo, we'd all be even more sad, because Flo had a decent international career with something like a goal per 3 game scoring rate and put in 2-3 perfectly decent seasons in the EPL scoring goals. But because of his Rangers move, followed by basically a club a year - Sunderland, then I think back to Scandinavia? Can't recall off hand, but kind of a journeyman's voyage to retirement - he's considered a bit of fail, at least for anyone who watched Gers back in the day. The big thing about Flo was lots of clubs bought him because he was tall as well as skilled, but he almost refused to head the ball. (ok probably overstating, but he was no McBride or Crouch, or Johnsen...) He would often try to bring it down in the box and deke and feint when it really looked like if jump a foot he'd score with ease...
From @Ceres, it seems there used to be a ton of Scandinavians in the PL especially Norwegians. Would it be fair to say Tore achieved among the highest success for a Norwegian besides John Arne Risse or Henning Berg? Damn, was everyone in his family 6'4? That's insane
Something fell out. Got an unbelievable juicy story about Johnsen. It seems Johnsen got a free transfer after being punched by his coach at the club he was with before ADO. He said to his union he didnot want to play under that coach anymore. It was dealt by the union and he got a free transfer that ADO quckly took advantage of.
I've got my brother in law to take care of him. He's 6'10", so you still get punched by me Edit:and he's trained by me in martial arts.
He was named player of the week by Voetbal International, not just best XI. So that ought to alleviate angst in one direction, while creating it in another.

Kinda happens when you're 6'5 and Black in Holland any news of him maybe signing a new contract with the club or any other clubs interested?
As I wrote the day he chose Norway, "with our luck bet he starts scoring like mad, and Monaco ends up buying him next season." We're on schedule.
Re-read the thread title. Seriously, this guy's half brother played U-littles with my son. Their dad was the coach. I knew him before any of y'all Johnny come latelys. (Latelies? Johnnys?)
