    Don't forget that Japan did the job on Colombia as well. Yes, they were fortunate to benefit from the early red, but they still managed to beat a good Conmebol team.

    The last time I know of was Netherlands vs Brazil in 1994, and even they wound up losing 3-2

    Agree with Tony Meola, KDB should have been playing further up. Also the central defenders seem too close to each other.

    I did some quick research. The last time a team advanced in a knockout stage game after a two goal deficit was 1982 the semi-final between Germany and France. France was up 3-1 in extra time but Germany came back to level it 3-3 and won in penalty shootout.
