I'm no Gooch fan, but I agree he has been playing better of late. His "card-risk" factor seems to headed in the right direction: lower.
Good point about Gooch. I thought he had a very good game. His distribution was not great, but his tackling was very good and he has found a way to jump over the top of the attacker and not get called for the foul. Now of course about the card risk, you probably just jinxed him!
I swear; some guys ratings like the USA won 10-0. Howard 6. He did saves that he to do. Nothing too serious. Cherundolo 5. Never was any trouble, but did earn a stupid card. Gooch 5 . Just an Ok performance. Bocanegra 5 . Ditto Pearce 6. Has ball smarts, knows how to overlap. Dempsey 7. Finally he gain some fitness, shown what grid and flair he has. Bradley 6. Scored and he controled uncreative and naive T&T. Beasley 6. Show some speed and did creat some chances. Sacha 6. He shown some creative fair. Donovan 7. He creates most of attack and can't be replace. Ching 6. He did score and but miss more chances. But he seems like the only striker. Johnson 3. This kid is lost, he was lost against such weak T&T team. Clark 5. Just fresh legs. Lewis 5. Not enough time
