Lehmann : Was better than Khan , and he really saved our butts in first half and begin of the second half
    A. Friedrich : Not as good as against the Aussies .. 2nd Yellow Card Mertesacker: Had some insecurities
Huth: Was better then before today
Hitzlsperger; Still no defender , ducked at Tunesias best chance which lehmann saved
    Deisler : Was better before
Frings Good Defense ,but no attacking skills
Schweinsteiger Sucked today only played well after the 1:0
    Ballack Invisible until his penalty
    Asamoah Asawho?? he sucked
Podolski not as good as before

    Kuranyi: Invisible
Hanke: Nice 3Minutes (is he so fast with his gf as well? *G*)
    Schneider: not well

Is Ernst injured? Why does he never get to play? Imo, he's one the best German players.

kahn is probably thinking about what he has to do to gain the 1st place again.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the game's result and Germany's performance today. A few points:

    1. The defense loooked sooooooo much better today than against Australia, they improved on nearly every aspect of their game....very proud of Huth and Hitlsperger. Lehman was solid although he didn't have much to do, 2 saves were exceptional though.

    2. Frings had a much better game, Deisler was very good again, that cross to Hanke was sensational. Schweinsteiger, well what can I say about him, he is world class, that finish was worth Henry's honor....Ballack- greatest player in the world, period. He has been doing some fancy dribbling also which surprised me, the man is pure class any way you look at it.

    3. Asamoah could have scored two in the first half, Friedrich missed a great opportunity as well but we made up for it in the last 15 minutes. Poldi was awesome as always, Kuranyi looks a lil too weak, if only there was a way to merge Kevin and Gerald's qualities, then we'd have a player worthy of putting next to Lukas. But that won't happen, so I'm opting for Hanke to start against Argentina.

Speaking of them, I am proud that we beat them 3-0 and Argentina barely beat them. Sweet....7 goals in 2 games.

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Urs Meier said it was a clear penalty
    Ballack was clearly fouled

of course it was a clear penalty, the defender extended his leg after Ballack halted to turn. I don't think anyone is doubting the penalty.

Ballack had a class of a game, he controlled the midfield, his passes were spot on and he always fought hard to retain the ball and get it back after its been lost. He was a REAL presence. He also has the skill to make the fouls on him look worse than they really are, which is a good thing.

I hope to catch the game latter on the day. They were showing the Italy-Canada game here instead (U20). I am getting different perspectives of the game from Heya BVB and Sir Manchester...Whats up? Speak up, all you frustraded sport commentators.

schweini plays well i thought. Frings plays well too :D. Rather than putting Hanke.. Klinsi should put Borowski instead :D. Merte didn`t have a very good game.. Poldi had a good game... Schneider wasn`t playing well.. Asamoah missed to many chances... Hitzlsperger could play better... Jens Lehmann had a good game..

    I`m happy we won :)

The entire team really played well, Asamoah just missed too many chances and Kuranyi is too weak.

Overall, it was a great performance by the team. Could have won it by more than 3 goals.

Right, Asamoah is a hard working player who is very physical so he slows the game down if he plays up front.

He belongs more in midfield, he is a solid footballer, just not made for the pace of the offensive game that Germany plays now, thats all.

Which would you prefer, Huth at Stamford Bridge or Huth at Allianz Arena?
