It really would be sad if Chengdu and Chongqing FC got relegated Lifan didn't get promoted. The Sichuan region already doesn't have a Super League team and then to only have one CL1 team remaining would be very depressing. The region also does not even have one team in CL2 right now either! From visiting there a few times, I know that they have many enthusiastic soccer fans and I don't know why when teams disband, they keep moving the new sides to cities that already have many teams (i.e. Shanghai and Beijing).

Ow God don't get me started about Chinese teams moving, Shanghai Shenxin moved from Nanchang to Shanghai because the owners headquarters were there.o_O That's like if the Man City owners decided to move the club to the UAE because the owner wants them closer to his house... I mean screw the fans, the 100 years tradition and the league. But the worst thing is hasn't this guy ever heard of the telephone, the internet or cable tv if he wanted to see his team? I guess if wouldn't mind so much if crowds were low and they moved for football reasons to a city who wanted a team but their attendance has fallen since they moved.

Anyway back to Sichuan, historically one of China's football loving regions and it's a shame they don't have anyone to represent them within the CSL. They've been really unlucky with their club owners who have often been a bunch of douchebags or match-fixing scumbags, but I know that when Chengdu won promotion in 2010 to the CSL that was thanks to a great academy system. It's a shame they couldn't stay up and hold on to their youngsters because they had the smallest budget in the league and almost survived relegation. It's just a shame that their owners Sheffield United were in financial difficulties because maybe if they had brought in one or two experienced players it could have kept the club up.

Only one upset this time with the North 4th seed, Shandong, beating the top seed from the South, Meizhou. Qinghai loses in a crazy outcome having 5 players sent off!

China League Two Quarterfinals Second Leg Results:
    Qingdao Hainiu (N1) 4 / Meixian Super-X (S4) 0 (Qingdao Hainiu advances 4-0 on aggregate)
    Meizhou Kejia (S1) 2
/ Shandong Tengding (N4) 1 (Shandong Tengding advances 3-2 on aggregate)
    Hebei Zhongji (N2) 3
/ Lijiang Jiayunhao (S3) 0 (Hebei Zhongji advances 3-2 on aggregate)
    Shenzhen Fengpeng (S2) 3
/ Qinghai Senke (N3) 0* (Shenzhen Fengpeng advances 5-1 on aggregate)
*Shenzhen Fengpeng was leading the second leg 2-1, but Qinghai Senke had 5 players sent off, so the game was terminated in the 66th minute once the 5th player was sent off. Shenzhen was awarded a 3-0 win.

Does anybody have any further information or news about the 5 red card game in English? Sounds like something crazy must have gone down there.

The match reports seems to say that Liu Cheng for Qinghai Senke got two yellow cards, first one for a dive and the second for a foul. Shenzhen Fengpeng then seemed to have scored soon afterwards.

In the second half Cui Yu for Qinghai received a second yellow for a foul either before or after Shenzhen struck their second. Wang Chi was given a straight red after kicking the ref, the game was postponed when they returned Song Chen and Huang Chao looked like the red mist was in their eyes and were soon sent off as well.

I'm trying to find some footage from this game but all I can find was some youtube footage:

It doesn't show you if the ref had a bad game or if any of the cards were justified, according from some reports from sina sports and it says Wang Chi accidently stepped on the refs foot and Cui Yu shouldn't have received a second yellow.

Henan Jianye beat Tianjin Songjiang 2-1 today to win the China League One title and are promoted to next year's CSL. The other two teams that still have a chance to secure the last promotion spot are Guangdong Sunray Cave and Harbin Yiteng.

Why does GD hold the H2H over Harbin? Harbin won 1-0 in Harbin, GD won 3-2 in GD. Their H2H points are even, their H2H goal difference is even, their H2H goals scored is even, so the next tie-breaker should be overall goal difference, which is also even, and next is overall goals scored, which GD leads by 1. I'm just going off of wikipedia, but am I mistaken?

That means that the club that holds the tie-breaker could change, depending on this Saturday's results.

You are right, sorry for the mistake. Their H2H is even, so the next TB would be GD and then goals scored. If both of these are tied, then disciplinary points would decide who gets promoted. Does anyone have the disciplinary standings (how many yellow cards and red cards they both have)?
