Top General is asking for more soliders and say Russia is supporting the Taliban.

The top U.S. commander in Afghanistan said Thursday he needs a "few thousand" more troops to better accomplish an integral part of the mission, and he complained that Russian meddling is complicating the counterterrorism fight.

Whoever got Col Sonny Leggett to announce that the US will start to withdraw their troops from Afghanistan is a genius.

The Taliban called for de-escalation and on Monday, Col Sonny Leggett, a spokesman for US forces in Afghanistan, announced the first phase of the American withdrawal.
