What is the capacity of Crew Stadium? How how is the capacity organized? How many seats? how many Bleachers? Is their any luxury boxes?
The official capacity is 22,500, however w/ portable bleachers it can be near 25k. There are club loges..however they arent anything special and I'm not sure of the number...all the bleacher seats have backs. There are around 3500 club seats I believe..which are yellow plastic chairs. These are on the west side of the stadium.
It's just a bit smaller than a perfect size soccer-specific stadium, but it helped the team to profitability. Great deal!
well...its a perfect size considering the Crew's average home attendance...however it wouldn't be hard to fill 30,000 seats for qualifiers. I long for the day crew stadium expands to 35,000 and puts a roof over the stands. Talk about an atmosphere for qualifying....
