Thanks for "shedding some light" on this issue for me.
If I were the President of the FIFA, I'd reward Guadeloupe with a spot in the FIFA for their outstanding performance in the Gold Cup, they deserve a spot -despite the fact their a territory of France- and I hope that they get one sooner rather later.

Can anyone give me any info on the quality of David Fleurival that was playing in Tours (France)?

Remember that Guadeloupe is not a country it is an oversea territory of France. When someone is born in guadeloupe you are French.Haiti got its independence from France since 1804 so they cannot represent France.Haiti is a country but guadeloupe is a French department. In guadeloupe they speak French and Creole.

Laurent Robert isnt the only Reunion player to play for France, Didier Agathe the Celtic player did to, and so will the best player out of Reunion and France U-20 player Sinama-Pongolle, he's from Reunion also.
