    Hi,

due to various circumstances, it happens regularily, that a country has to play a competitive home match on neutral ground, like yugoslavia did in the 90es or recently sierra leone in the CAN 2015 qualification phase because of ebola.

my question is how these matches are counted for the "home" team. As being played on home soil or as being played on a neutral venue? My guess is, that it is still a home match, but is that always the case for all statistics, like for goal scorers to differantiate whether they scored goals at home or on road?

    Regards
