Can the Saints win away today at Loftus Road? Is this the last Saints match for Quashie and Walcott? How are we going to do now that the Niemi era has finished? Hopefully we will get a win today and somehow keep the two previously mentioned players throughout the transfer period.

    Today's starting 11:

    Smith
    Kenton-Claus-Powell-Higgy
    Dyer-Quashie-Oakley-Belmadi
    Walcott-Blackstock

Subs: Jones, Fuller, Cranie, Prutton, Balkowski (GK)

Prutton on for Kenton who suffered an injury in warm-ups. I am not sure who took Prutton's place on the bench.

Powell with a header from a corner which QPR just managed to clear off the line.

Belmadi just misses by inches off of a beautiful volley attempt at about the 10' minute.

Penalty on Saints in the 20' minute. The shot was deflected up in the air and Higgy just ran right through the player.

QPR convert the PK to make it 1-0.

QPR has a goal disallowed due to their forward being offsides on the rebound from a Smith save on about the 30' minute.

    Still 1-0 QPR

Finally for some shots from our forwards. Walcott unfortunately puts his second shot over the net.

Saints have been dominating the 2nd half.

Quasie just got taken down in the QPR box. Who's going to take the PK for Saints?

Oh my! Quasie's PK was saved, hit the post, and then Quasie puts it out for a GK.

    CRAP!

    Full time

The difference today was that QPR converted their PK in the 1st half, Saints didn't in the 2nd half.

    QPR 1
    Saints 0
