Most of our players are back from injury and should be available for this one. Still don't understand why the FA wouldn't move us to a Saturday game to give proper rest for the midweek game against real (I've said this for other engerlish teams in the CL as well, so I'm not just sympathetic to our cause).

Let's keep the momentum after WBA and pick up points during this october stretch.

Coutinho doing tight sh*t for Brasil:

A fit team would be nice..:) They are going to need playing time together though. Be nice if Phillipe has found his form again and doesn't need to shoot every time we have 3 players In the box waiting. Then perhaps Raheem got a decent nights sleep...:)

QPR are shite, so expect them to play like the Dutch circa 1974 against us.

Studge and Allen come straight back in. Sakho should be fit so he is in for Lovern. I could see Rodgers giving Johnson the start. With Sturridge and Allen back, we can probably afford to start Sterling on the bench so he is good and fresh for Madrid in the midweek. Coutinho is back late from a long trip, so he also starts on the bench.

    Going with a diamond

    Migs,

    Johnson, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno
    Gerrard
    Hendo/Allen
    Lallana
    Balo/Studge

Hopefully we can get some goals early so we can use our bench. I'd be looking to bring Coutinho and Sterling on for Gerrard and Sturridge, Manquillo for Johnson.

You wouldn't go kid gloves with Dancin' Danny first game back and bring him on as the super sub?

He would have been fit a week ago so it's not like we are rushing him back. Also would think it's better to come on after a proper warmup before the game rather than after sitting for an hour.

They are pretty shit so I'd like to see us go at them early and try and win it in the first half.

No Allen in your squad? He should be back and ready to go based on the latest reports I've seen.

I agree with poop in that this is more important than Madrid. Strong squad, its vital that we get 3 points.

Don't disagree. Just wonder if it wouldn't be best to hold Sterling back for this one to ease the pressure on him just a bit.

He's too tired to sit on the bench.

Rodgers confirmed at this presser that pretty much everyone is available for the match, including Lovern.

Was coy regarding Sturridge though, saying he needed to be assessed tomorrow to see if he is ready.

Probably all wrong but why not hold Daniel until the second half and try to use two big boys upfront against the parked bus. The three in midfield can all pick a pass and show up in odd spaces. You know that QPR will be bunkered so playing our two best attacking fullbacks makes sense as well. And that bench ain't bad. Saving Enrique for defending against Real.

Rio's been exposed by pace all season. Playing Lambert would give him something he could deal with.

I'm in London Town on Sunday and I just know it. A game against QPR is a typical "Rodgers's teams are easily done by bog standards" scenario. Far too often a struggling team findsform against us. FCUK,Why?

And, there we go. Sturridge is off for another month, as rumours fly.

I don't expect anything from either Madrid match, but we SHOULD be able to beat QPR (away), Hull (home), and Newcastle (away) without him (although same could've been said about VIlla (h) and West Ham (a). Chelsea at home on November 8th is worrisome, and based on how we've played without Sturridge this season, that could be ugly.

2 to 4 weeks being reported.

So much for Sterling getting a rest. At least Allen and Can are back so we can push Gerrard forward to partner Balo.
