So far I have liked this Venezuelan team a lot, but in all reality they wont be match against this Argentinian side. La Albiceleste wont even need Messi to start, he probably will come in during the 2nd half.

    Argentina 3-1 Venezuela

The only way I see Venezuela advancing is by bunkering all night and hoping for Penalties.
The longer they can keep it close the more pressure is on Argentina.

I think Venezuela will make Argentina sweat. I don't know what it is about this Veneuela team but it has made me a believer. Its almost as if they never heard of any of the teams they are playing and are supposed to lose to. These kids are young and have ability. They just don't have the big names...yet. This is an ideal game for kds to put their name on the map against world class competition.

Tough match, though at the end Argentina should prevail. I really like the football Venezuela is playing, kudos to Dudamel for a magnificent turnaround.

Venezuela have been great but if they want to win this they'll have to put more of their chances away. I get that they're a young team but they only scored 3 goals in the groups stages and had several chances against Mexico to put it at 2-0 and win the game but they didn't. They can't rely on the defence to bail them out against Argentina unfortunately. If they put their chances away here, they have a chance.

I can see Venezuela play the game of their lives and squeeze by Argentina only to bend over and shit the bed against the US like every other SA team in this tournament

Think either teams will beat the USA.

I've been saying this with Paraguay and Ecuador. However, the reason I think either of these teams can beat the USA is because of the USA missing 3 key players + Dempsey apparently having picked up a knock in the last match, that's going to hurt the USA. Venezuela have a chance of reaching the final if they win today. If Argentina win, then they most likely will beat the USA with or without their best players. Argentina may look shaky at times but I think their overall quality should be enough on its own to beat the USA.

Imagine a Venezuela - Colombia final haha, Venezuela to win their first Copa America just because they are Colombia's ultimate bogey side

Argentina needs to win and saves us from a nightmare concacaf final. Venezuela wont beat USA, they're not good enough, US is at home and has twoo days extra rest.

I'm not really scared to be honest. Remember that the USA will be missing 3 starters + Colombia should be beating Mexico.

And to be honest, this is a CONMEBOL - CONCACAF tournament. I really wouldn't care if the USA win this tournament. We've already shown in the World Cup's that we're by far the better continent.

If Mexico win though, that would be annoying.

USA has rejected invitations for previous Copas and suddenly they care about it, like these events doesnt matter unless they happen US soil. That's basically why I root against them.
At least Mexico has been playing it for a while and it has even played a couple of finals. But yeah them winning would be annoying.
But all these comes to personal preference.

And I am not sure about Colombia beating Mexico, they couldn't beat Peru and Mexico has home crowd support.

Colombia had crowd support last night too, and them not beating us were more us playing some of the best defence in the tournament rather than Colombia underperforming.

No it's because they keep favoring the Gold Cup over the Copa. They were trying to increase the prestige in winning the Gold Cup. So they didn't want the USA A team to focus more on another tournament.

Personally I want a Copa like what we are having now but Concacaf won't allow it.
