IOC decides Russians will compete as neutral athletes in Pyeongchang https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...mpete-neutral-athletes-pyeongchang/922438001/
Merkel's probably seen only one half-naked woman in her life, and wasn't sure why this one looked so different.
True, but it's also possible that she thought Vlad and that security guard were going to start a quick MMF threeway, and she wanted no part of that. I mean, seriously: if there was even the slightest chance that they were about to invoke Russian bukkake protocols, I'd get out of there, too.
The White House is contemplating withdrawing in support of Mother Russia. They official reason given as worrying about all the US fans ending in jail.
https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/w...e-doubt-u-s-athletes-2018-pyeongchang-n827331 So far, it seems to be just Nikki Haley. The USOC seems to be, like, "say what?" Haley was initially asked Wednesday night on Fox News whether sending American athletes was a "done deal" given the tensions in the region, and responded that the situation is an "open question." "I have not heard anything about that," she added, "but I do know in the talks that we have — whether it's Jerusalem or North Korea — it's about, how do we protect the U.S. citizens in the area?" ************ On Thursday afternoon, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders cited security considerations when she said going to the Olympics wasn't set in stone. But "the goal," she said, is for athletes to compete. Minutes after the daily press briefing ended, Sanders clarified her remarks in a tweet saying that "the U.S. looks forward to participating" in the Olympics and helping to ensure the venues are secure.
I'm wondering if Nikki Haley thinks that the Olympics are actually being held in Pyongyang. By the way, she and our current Secretary of Energy are doing a stunning job teaching folks that you don't have to be smart to be a state governor.
A story about some difficulties on the Korean Hockey team. I don't know, it may sound funny, but it is also good IMO that they want to keep their language free of outside words. I know Iceland does something similar with their language. https://sports.yahoo.com/linguistic...korea-olympic-hockey-team-105237426--spt.html
You've never been to Germany have you? If there's one thing the Germans are cool with, it's nudity. She'd have to avoid every public park during the summer if she didn't want to see naked humans.
I lived in Germany for two years (hence my username) and I never once saw a live naked human in public (as opposed to photos of naked humans, which are pretty much everywhere you look.) Of course, I was in the eastern part of the country which tends to be a little more straitlaced than the western, but still.
Nah. A whole lot of East German nude beaches back in the day -- it was something of an anti-government statement.
The opposite is true. FKKs "everybody's equal" message was the state's public policy in East Germany. But I see. You guys want the best segment from the Sochi Olympics back: Sexy German winter athletes Anna Seidel, short track stay tuned
Could make a "Germans raking in gold" joke here. But will not in keeping with the Olympic spirit. Gut lecken, Krauts!
