    What a weird thread! On the first page two consecutive posters listed my friends' bands as their favorites of that year.

    And hilariously, I had a "punk" (lol) album released this year and played a show with Red Fang (it's the only show my band will probably ever play) a couple of weeks ago.

    RIP Kenny Waste. :(

    I was at both of those. Cabaret Metro was my home away from home for a while. In addition to these, I saw PIL, Jesus & Mary Chain, the Cramps, Gary Numan, the Ramones, and Einstürzende Neubauten there. I'm sure some others too. Whoever did the booking at that place deserves an award.
